This will be officially my last post in Poetry forum.
I thank Shab-e-Hijar to remember my request about this thread in November (for which she had to push another important thread to be opened in December now) …
I also thank Shab-e-Hijar to remember me and specially asking me to open this thread in this forum. I find it an honour to have opened a thread on Iqbal 
over here…
There are hundreds of poems left that I could share but I guess, most of the important stuff is shared and others can do so till the end of month, if they wish to…
About The Last poem:
The title is about Tipu Sultan and Iqbal talks about his universally famous subject of Khudi or Self Respect … He talks about how Tipu Sultan Shaheed never accepted the respect given to him by the outsiders - the Britishers… and how he fought against the injustice in his land. He denied the favours given to him because they were compromising his SELF RESPECT and were the attack on his Khudi. Another important lesson for us, how respect is relevent- something to learn for sure 
For the last time, I will post an audio clip as well of the same poem in my voice… in these forums which I have cherished from my arrival here… I also feel honoured to have Sho’ara-e-Gupshup named after my suggestion back in the days … a small gift that I gave to this place which gave me so many good friends
