Amal - As a Poet

**A genuine poet that Gupshup had the honour to have it for 7 long years since his registration on **August 7, 2000 **during the time when this place was moderated by **~Sehar~**... We surely and heartfully wish that he comes back to us because Poetry Forum seems to have become orphan upon his departure. In his own words,

Amal - As a Man of Principle

** **He is a true man of principle who had refused to compromise to any irrational things in these forums few years back and as a result in November of 2003, walked out from here in protest, the impact of which was seen evidently here when many people united together and showed solidarity with their friend. He was right when he had quoted Perveen Shakir by saying:

Amal - As a Friend

** **Goes whole nine yards for the sake of friendship. Friends like him are rare to this era. Unlucky we are that we lost him but we come here everyday with a hope that he might have returned.

One day, I believe he will return. We will wait till our last breath :slight_smile: If you are reading it Amal, know that We Shall Wait for you! We Shall wait!!!

Amal - As a Moderator

** **His coming as the moderator was arguably the best ever thing happened to this place. He brought new life and new energy to the forums... Not only he became more active participant himself, he made sure that people enjoy here and have the equal share about running it.

He personally reached out to people on any level, conducted many fun and knowledge-oriented contest successfully, and gave due credits to every single participant. His innovative ideas that turned into contest threads at times were unique in the nature and perhaps the reason, poetry forums at Gupshup became one of the most visited and participated forums from user perspective. We of course do not have any real statistics and perhaps Administration can help us in that but one thing is for sure that HE MADE THE DIFFERENCE!

Every single participant of poetry forum greatly misses his/her loving friend - jo hum say rooth gaya hai.
