LAHORE: Strict security beefed up at Children Hospital during Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit here, took life of an infant, Geo News reported Monday.

The father of the child was not allowed entry into the hospital thanks to reved up security measures for Punjab Chief Minister and resultantly, the child expired at the closed gate of hospital.

Gujranwala’s Omar Farooq brought his twin children to Children Hospital; however, he was not offered any cooperation by hospital staff, as he forgot to bring along his identity card.

Meantime, according to spokesman of the government of Punjab, the Punjab CM ordered an inquiry into the death of child at Children Hospital.

Spokesman of Punjab Government Pervez Rashid has said that CCTV footage clearly shows that nobody stopped the parents of the newborn.
While talking to media in Lahore Senator Pervez Rashid said that I have seen in the CCTV footage that no delay was made in medical treatment of the child and Chief Minister reached the hospital after 20 minute of the incident.
CCTV footage is not proving the said claims and if they are right with evidences then culprits would not be spared.

Meantime, according to spokesman of the government of Punjab, the Punjab CM ordered an inquiry into the death of child at Children Hospital.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah while talking to Dunya News said that an inquiry will be held for this incident and action will be taken against responsible.

I think they are doing fine as compared to other three provinces.

Police in Punjab is always famous for tortouring and humiliating people. It does not matter which government is ruling. Remember when Police in Punjab went on strike during Muharram and during Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's time, Mustafa Khar and his cronies wore police dresses to control any clash between processions of Shia and Sunni, which was very likely to happen in Lahore.

During Zia-ul-Haq's time, TV started a program based on crimes in Punjab, the name of program was "Andhera Ujala". His government tried hard to improve the image Punjab Police. Son in Law of Noor Jehan sang a song "police ka hay farz madad aap ki":D

Thats really disgusting, why are shmucks appointed to posts of which they have no idea? The CM is visiting hospital to see sick children while the security apparatus causes a child to die, how sick is that! People should've blocked CM's entrance to the hospital.

Shahbaz Sharif is nothing but a joker. In just 2 years, he has caused a total economic collapse of Punjab province. I remember in 2007, Punjab gov. had surplus budget and their development funds were so out of their capacity that they could not be utilized in the designated time-frame and so they were moved to the next year.

Now, they are heavily under debt. Shahbaz Sharif, just to satisfy his ego, stopped all development projects started by previous gov. which has multiplied the cost of these projects.

And talk of law and order, about 60% of police force in Punjab is busy in protecting PMLN's VVIPs. Even his son Hamza Shahbaz uses full protocol of Chief Minister with a huge police escort.
At his old house in Model Town where no member of his family even lives, there is a heavy contingent of police deployed and two roads around that house have been completely blocked. I wonder how much of those hundreds of concrete blocks cost which have been placed around that house.

And the result is crime rate in Punjab has increased by about 50% in the past couple of years.

There is a project going on in Lahore (Software technology park) where Punjab gov. partnered with Chinese gov. to build an IT tower, SHahbaz Sharif halted the project just to des-credit it as it had been started by previous gov. As a result, the chinese company withdrew. Shahbaz Sharif then went to China and paid 30 crore rupees fine to convince Chinese to come back and re-start the project.

All these facts present a totally different picture of how they are portrayed in media.

Mianwali: Scam of Watan Card Scheme unveiled

A new scam of Watan Card Scheme has been unveiled in Mianwali.
The flood affectees in the Mian Wali relief camp alleged that cards were distributed on political basis.
UBL manager informed Dunya News that 2500 cards have been issued of which almost 50 percent of people have already withdrawn their amounts from the bank.
According to details, an amount of Rs 20,000 is given on fast track basis to owners of the card. Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif launched the Watan Card Scheme.
Former federal minister Sher Afghan Niazi while talking to Dunya News said that cards are not being distributed to amongst the deserving people.

^ what power does Nawaz Sharif enjoy to "launch the Watan Card Scheme"? Is he doing it out of his pocket? or is he an MNA to oversee this scheme?

BTW whenever such an scheme is launched it is pre-concluded that it will be distributed to friends and families of the party activists, just like jiyalas benefit most from any PPP scheme (Benazir Income Support??).

Jhang: 42,000 fake injections for rural health centers

Some 42,000 injections purchased for rural health centers in the Jhang district have been proved Fake whereas the concerned administration stabbed in the back of the government by paying millions of rupees for the injections, even after the drug testing laboratory reports confirmed that they were fake and could be fatal for the patients.
EDO health Jhang purchased 42,000 Dorcip injections for rural health centers and other hospitals and dispensaries. According to the government rules, testing of the drugs before the purchase is mandatory but the administration did not pay heed to the rules and paid for the injections without DTL report whereas later on the samples were sent for testing. It was learnt later that some 10,500 injections of Batch 266, 2000 of Batch 272, 6500 of Batch 275 and 6000 injections of Batch 267 were declared fake, contaminated and fatal by DTL, while injections of Batch 153 were not sent for laboratory testing. Instead of stopping the purchase, the administration paid the full price for the fake injections.
DCO Jhang has constituted a committee to probe the matter.
This is story of a department of a district but every department and every district of Punjab is full of stories like this.
And on media( their own) they claim to be honest and asking for midterm polls.

Oh but I thought having a fake degree doesn’t matter according to you. That janwar jamshed dasti fo the PPP was your idol, so why do you have the opposite point of view when it comes to pml[n] contestants with fake degrees? They’re both criminals, no ifs or buts. Same goes for Asif Ali Ghaddari.

So Pasha, what are your thoughts about the fake degree holders of the PPP? You were full of praise for PPP’s JAmshed Dasti, a guy who doesnt even qualify as a sweeper in Pakistan. Do you agree he’s also a criminal just like Asif Ali Zardari, keep in mind you called others from a different party criminals for the same crime.
