At the same time, he demanded a new election commission, new election commissioner and a new election. Not much about Bhuttoo.
I was hoping that he and other politicians would understand the sensitivity of the situation and try to calm people down, keep peace, and bring the situation back to some stability so we COULD have elections. He's already taking advantage of the situation for his return to power. Pathetic.

He has talked about her and said that she was one of the leader of the country and it is not right elections are held immediately after she is assassinated.

If they do participate...i have a feeling they'll sweep the nation of votes! Because alll peoples emotions are running supernova right now. Opposition parties alike.

I think this is the secondary situation for PPP hierarchy and least of their concerns. It will take some time for feeling to sink in.

instead of boycotting why don't they all just unite together and learn once for all that fighting among themselves wont help anyone - just ruin Pakistan more n more..

In bigger scheme of things none of these people really matter (or none of us for that matter). Jinnah left Pakistan orphaned at age of 1 year. We have been limping on since then, and these tragic times will pass too. Important thing is that we must avoid going into civil war and falling apart as a nation.

Nawaz.S was banned from participating himself anyway and he knew that even if his men win after demise of the PPP he wouldnt achieve anything so he just boycotted it so that it appears as if he is mourning Benazir.B death. what a plan ek teer say do shikaar.

all parties should participate in elections. This is the only way towards stability and only way to beat the hypocrites in beards. Mushi should resign after elections enough. We were on the brink of civil war 20 hours ago. People please show some unity. It was like baghdad before thanks Allah we are coming back to normal.

but i think musharaf should have resigned a couple of months back when he knew he wasnt as popular as he was before....if he did that all this wouldnt happen...and besides he should give someone else a chance to rule..maybe they'll do it better....

He has called for APC. Let see how other political parties respond, and I totally agree with you (surprised here eh?) we need unity. Politics, elections and everything else can wait. Important things is how we can prevent the country from falling apart, and at the same time taking on extremists who are bent on destroying the country.
