KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must talk to India and Afghanistan ‘in a clear cut manner’ and ask them to stop the funding and movement of militants from their territory. “Unless the funding is stopped terrorism cannot be curtailed,” he said.
While talking to the media Khattak said that the security guards of the Bacha Khan University and security forces did a commendable job yesterday. “Due to their bravery, the militants weren’t unable to achieve their main target,” he said. “We as a whole nation have to stand united against terrorism.”
CM further added that financial support for those injured in the attack, and the families of the people who died, is a part of terrorism victim package of the provincial government. “Whether we announce it or not, the financial support will be provided to their families.”
Khattak’s remarks come after yesterday’s attack at Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, which left 21 dead, most of whom were students and staff members. The KP chief minister who had been on an official tour to the UK, cut short his trip to return to Pakistan yesterday.

Army Chief Raheel Sharif has called Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdullah, Waqt News reported. “The Charsada attack was launched from a place in Afghanistan,” COAS told the Afghan leadership.
According to ISPR sources General Sharif also called General John Campbell.
“The COAS demanded cooperation in catching the culprits of Charsadda attack,” ISPR sources told the media. “He also shared the intelligence information with Afghan leaders,” ISPR sources added.
Pakistan is believed to have been attacked yet again from the Afghan territory yesterday. The attack on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda killed 21 students and teachers. It was the second major attack on educational institute in Pakistan after APS attack in 2014.
Pakistan has conveyed its concerns to Afghanistan leadership claiming that their land is being controlled by the militants who are attacking Pakistan.

Have to agree with the Indians on this one. These people are financed by the Pakistani government in the first place. They make their cash off of extortion and kidnappings and car theft from our own people. And our own military and police can't end it. The rangers have done a lot and things have improved but it's not all gone and I hate how our government pretends like they have nothing to do with it. Who was sitting in Abottabad under government protection ??

Blame Blame Blame! Every thing will be OK when people sitting in GHQ dreaming of Strategic Depth in Afghanistan and Azad Kashmir In India will get lost or removed. Pakistan army spent 30 years creating these monsters and snakes who are turning against us. We really think its that simple to simply blame it on others and forgot where this menace started, hint hing GHQ.
Army is always thinking of attacking elected Governments of Pakistan, if they cant change their mantra and wont focus of real enemy that they created, no one can help.

I am sorry but its truth, This is the doing of Pakistan Army! How can a problem be solved if the root cause of the problem is not fixed! Who will get the people thinking of Strategic Depth who created all this to justice ? It is 30 years or sickness that Pakistan Army created to serve neferious purposes of ruling Afghanistan and getting Kashmir, this will not end easily. We must ask and DEMAND army to perform, curb its corruption, punish its generals and let the political process go! There is no easy fix to this mess.
wake the hell up PCG... Pakistan is doing every thing in its power to fix the issue.

Root cause of this problem is some one wants to kill pakistani children to make pakistan suffer.
Let me fix few things.
1-all those who think that authorities could completely stop such incident, need to consider such shootings in western counties by their own people.
2-there is usually one mad man want to kill.. he gets a gun and kill.. and get killed... end of story.
3-we have mad men sent in our country, they get killed .. few months later more are sent.
So problem is some MF ordering killing of children.
Need to wake up...

Wish it was that easy but its not! It not some MF wanting to kill childern or sending people, its the Ideology that has been nurtured over 30 plus years by likes of Hamid Gul (Rot In Hell), Zia (Rot In Hell), and Pakistan army in general to serve its nefarious purposes. Now expecting a sudden change in to this Jihadi/Mujahid thinking is simply not possible. The only way to defeat this is via Political means, political process development, complete curb on army's nefarious activities, a complete control of this otherwise uncontrolled animal, complete audit of their finances and complete control of army under civilian leadership. If we are not ready to hold the army accountable these things will continue to happen. Remember not too long ago an ex Chief of army staff called them strategic assets.

OMG thats why I am saying its ideology! The ideology that has been taught for 30 plus years. These 20 somethings are the product of same ideology, fed hate, fed killing, fed 72 hoorain all their lives. I grew up in Pakistan. Back in early 90s, we had maulvi come to our home to teach Quran. The maulvi taugh less Quran and more "Shia Kafir, Jihad Zindabad, Jihad this, Jihad that, India this India that". Thats the ideology that have been fed by likes of Hamid Gul and GHQ's to do their work whether in India, Afghanistan etc. This is doing of over 30 years of moral corruption of One institute that is above every law. So you can call these 20 something the problem of today but their ideology didnt just come.
