May be it's fungus infection? I know a girl who lost all her hair because of the infection. Don't know if it grew back or not.
SORRY but this mesage above isnt really nice, its unlikely, the OP should go to a doc, and check, otherwise no need to scare people by saying it this way....i know if was the OP i wouldve paniced stressed more...i doubt it this either way.
i have a concotion of oils i used, try mixing kalongi oil, olive oil , mustard oil and methi dana pwder and apply to hair.
also taker mutlivit plus biotin tablets.

You shud apply oil But do the hot oil treatment:
Warm damp towel in microwave for 15 seconds in a plastic bag with open mouth.
Apply the hot oil treatment to your dry hair, working it through from the roots to the ends.
Put a plastic shower cap over your hair or wrap it with plastic wrap, and cover the plastic with a warm towel.
Leave the hot oil treatment in the hair for 15 to 20 minutes.
Shampoo out the hot oil treatment and condition your hair as usual

Protein and iron help strengthen hair and make it stronger.
Oil helps manageability...will make it much more soft.
Biotin is also a great product for hair growth...go to GNC and buy a pack of Purvana.

My mom used to apply coriander seed oil ( dhaniya) and mustard (sarson) oil on my hairs (mixing both) . I used to have very thin hairs, but the oil really worked. Try that and also if you feel the hair loss is abnormally increasing you should definitely see a good derma at earliest.

I have checked my Hormone level they are abit on low side, and PCOS my stupid doc said shes not sure but that the ultrasound came out all fine. but shes like shes not sure if i have PCOS or not but my utrus seems all fine. HOW STUPID IS THAT.
Actually im frm corner of the earth and here doctors are really dumb, jab tak main unko khud na kahoon konsi med muje chahiye woh tab tak confused hi rehte hain :'(....so doc said hairfall isnt a problem it will be okay,and i took 2nd ,3rd actually many opinions from the many docs and all were like its not an issue, (WITHOUT CHECKING ANYTHING,YES!) So like im really miserable these days. it been more than a year that and im goin to get married soon, i dont wana be GANJI oh lord.

Inshallah everything will be okay. i lost most of my hair one winter when i was eleven and the dosctors said it was normal…then when it semmed like my hair was as thin as it could possibly get …my hair started growing back…it has happened several times ever since. and every year it grows back. :)dont worry..eat healthy and use oil…refrain from straightening your hair, blow dryers,curling irons and hair products.

Purvana is an oral supplement, a tablet. It provides around 2500 units of biotin which is great for hair growth.
Sonia...Im not sure if its the same as perfectil...I do know it also contains biotin but cannot tell how much. :(

Don't use any 'miracle' oils or massage u're scalp vigorously, u'll end-up loosing more hair. Do as u're doctor tells u, eat a balanced diet and take supplements. Remember the more oil you use, more shampoo u use to wash it off = more hair loss.

@natasha, Dear what oil did you use? by reading your comment i calmed abit that its not just ME..what oil did you use when u lost ur hair? maybe its the oil which made it regrow ur hair back?

Don't stress yourself out over your hair ..you will end up loosing more hair due to stress... Be calm and be patient .. take perfectil as it's the best for your hair nails and skin continuously for 6 to 8 months to see the difference ..
Hair will grow out again in 5 to 6 months .. you just need to be patient ..apply pure mustard oil and take hot towel treatments ..
You get many hair masks in the market ..I've used Dabur Vatika hair conditioning mask for hairfall ..and it is really good.
Apply yoghurt mixed with egg yolk if your hair is dry ..and mix the whole egg if you have oily hair .. egg white makes your hair dry ..
take good care of your diet ..eat green veggies ..and eat lots of fruits .. protein is very important for your hair ..so try to eat things with more protein.
Massage your hair with oil very gently ..be kind to your hair they are going through a bad time .. don't massage or pull them vigorously
Brush your hair with head upside down gently for 2 to 3 minutes as it improves blood circulation and help your hair to grow back
