My sisters and I just got our clothes for our brother’s wedding and my cousin who got them made messed up all of them. The colors are horrible and the embrodery is on the paindoo style. We are sooo very upset, especially since the wedding in next week. We have no clothes. So can anyone tell me where I can go to shop for clothes, we need extra large sizes and those are hard to find. I live in upstate ny, so I really don’t know of any stores that sells pakistani style clothes. Does anyone know if there is anyone who sells pakistani style clothes from home in nyc?? Thanks in advance.
you have no time so you must invest the money. take a day trip to nyc or toronto (whichever is closer) and buy the outfits directly from the shop. otherwise you will be panicking last minute. later on you can list the paindoo outfits on ebay and recoup some costs. or maybe u can even take them with you on the trip and some shop owner might buy them.

OH no thats so sad to hear - you dont have to buy such expensive clothes from boutiques since you must have paid your cousin for the clothes as well - just buy them asap as times passing on v quickly.
wow thas horrible-- i wuld never wanna b put in that situation but im guessing if u have time come to NY queens, and chek out jackson heights altho its pretty pricey if not then drive a bit further and come to hicksville they have nice clothing here also-and they will do alternations for u as ur waiting for it there- good luck :)
if you can't get them in time, just wear whatever you've got and make up for it with the hair/jewellery.

I think the one thing that you could get from stores here that is still good quality is a sari. Would you be interested in a heavy sari?

Hi thanks everyone for all the suggestions. My sister actually ended up going to Zari Boutique in New Jersey and found a unsewn outfit which the lady was able to get sewn in three days. The boutique actually has pakistani style clothes. (The owner is featuring Lajwanti formalwear right now).
I went through my closet and was able to mix and match and put an outfit together. Hopefully the wedding will be so much fun that we will not be preoccupied with our clothes. It is after all my brother and my bhabi's day not our. Thanks everyone

If you'v eno other option, try to beutify yourself with excellent makeup and jewellery, and just be confident!
