njgal, as far as charity care, I know its available for emergency hospital stay, inpatient stay etc., (application is in process) but not for home health care and that is what he needs right now. A home health aid is charging anywhere from $13 to $15 an hour, and he needs atleast 6 to 8 hours a day. He aslo needs to get a wheelchair accessible minivan, because we cannot transfer him from a wheelchair into a regular car. All this is cost a lot of money, I wish charity care would help with all this but it doesn't.
