This is an official ODI. Was announced a few months back.
yasir and taufeeq shud be our permanent openers while farhat shud be a backup for injury cases....

Yasir Hameed has exposed the other side of the coin.
He is weak not consistant, poor fielder and does not seems to re-think
his actions.
Hameed replaced Imran Nazir who is an excellent fielder (Jonty standard) and a darn good openner. Did Hameed justify his selection ???
The prob with hamed is that he always gets a start but always giv his wicket in 30-40 , but this this doesnot we hav to trash him.
Plus like our players our Cricket board is also not consistent keeps on changing players. I think Hameed needs some more matches.
For God sake plz dont bring Rashid Latif again, therz no doubt he is a world class wicket keeper but he has a mouth prostate and again there will be some politics.
I am sure they will play Younis khan as wicket keeper in one day :k:

Sometimes I just dont understand PCB Selection Panel.. This guy is 32 years old.. Suppose he is good, how much more cricket does he left? maybe 2 to 3 years as Paki players seem to decline once they get 35+.. It would have been better to select someone younger so that it would have been a better investment for the future.. Plus, if Aamir Bashir is such a good batsman and a prolific scorer, why wasnt he selected 10 years ago?

i hope so he has played non stop for more than year and half now, he needs a break to clear his mind a little, he is a solid player!!
Yassir Hameed is a good player. I think our coach needs to work on the attitude of some of the openers. not all the balls can be hit for 4 or 6. They need to restrain themselves sometimes. All we need is a start with no loss of wickets. Even if we get our first 100 in 30 overs without losing too many wickets, we can score big in the end.
Sad that there is only one game. i wish it was a best of 3.
India has not been playing good lately.
