Plastic surgery

Re: Plastic surgery

If you've felt a natural pair and a pair full of silicone, you'd know there is an obvious difference.

Au naturale is way better!

Re: Plastic surgery

oh wait!

my life is in ruins..i am destroyed…the very foundation of my belief system is at stake…because someone said “all the surgery” and didn’t prove it!!! :sadaf:

Re: Plastic surgery

unfortunately I did not have the chance to feel the silicone one but I was saying aesthetically to men women with a big set appeal more , no matter how they got bigger , naturally or otherwise.

Re: Plastic surgery

Yes, made a fool out of myself didn't I? Next time I must remember to consult my lawyer before replying to a thread.

Re: Plastic surgery

Almost everyone?? You mean u and Rizla lol..

Anyway, I’m out of this thread, should have know his sidekick would make an apprearance and try and make out what he said on Page 1 has a different meaning when practically everyone else in the world would take the phrase ‘all cosmetic surgery is a turn off’ as meaning all.. (and not ‘all surgery, unless it looks natural or it’s on a celeb’.. as if that makes a difference as Farrah already pointed out)..

Re: Plastic surgery

o god .. plezz stop already ! LOL .. ur ona go crazy .. who cares about the blimpin' surgery maan ?! ..

Re: Plastic surgery

Yeah, obviously a lot of men like larger and/or fuller as opposed to flatter.. but each to their own..

Silicone feels soft and squeezy.. only guys who have never really felt them would make out they feel bad..

Re: Plastic surgery

Oh bloody hell, the only one "clutching" at straws is you. Side effects from surgery are far far greater than taking freaking paracetamol!

Good for you for having a boob job but that doesn't mean everyone is open to it NOR should you be tryign to change everyones mind.

Re: Plastic surgery

I may or may not have squeezed natural and silicone breasts. I may or may not know what I'm talking about. Just because you may or may not have had a boob job does not give you the licence to rant all you want about people disagreeing with cosmetic surgery.

Nawmean?

Re: Plastic surgery

^ 50/50 post of the day

Re: Plastic surgery

Sara, I’m not trying to change anyone’s mind, I was just trying to point out the double-standards, often it’s the same ppl who go on about it being bad who are the same ones in Fashion and Beauty asking how can they make their skin whiter or pretending in everyday life that their coloured contact lenses are their natural eye colour. (Btw I’d like to know what these great side effects of having a BA are, esp considering patients are usually discharged just a few hours after surgery rather than kept in longer..)

I’m not ranting at people disagreeing with me, just those who are hypocritical in that they say cosmetic surgery is a turn-off or bad then ooh and aah over celebrities who have done just that.. If you’re ok with those double-standards then good for you :k:

Re: Plastic surgery

:rotfl:

For the record I would prefer au naturale too. I did have a liking for the artificially enhanced ones when I was younger though (I blame Pamela Anderson and Baywatch for that).

Re: Plastic surgery

Haha comparing cosmetic surgery to temporary make up? Seriously? Your incessant ranting is not going to help you here. You're just being obtuse for the sake of it!

That's not hypocrisy goddamnit! That's called a personal choice. Just because you call someone hot on TV doesn't mean you're not entitled to a different opinion in your personal life. Celebrities and personal life can be mutually exclusive! OMG OMG OMG! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT'S POSSIBLE?!

Re: Plastic surgery

:khumar:…i hope no moderator turns up here

Re: Plastic surgery

^ The moderator has been here the entire time. :chai:

As long as no one gets personal, debate away.

Re: Plastic surgery

*Incessant ranting? Funny u mention that with all ur caps and 'OMGs'.. *

The point was the difference in attitude and the result (as Farrah already pointed out). As if those same ppl wouldn't go and get surgery to change those things that they feel insecure about long-term or permanently if they could rather than pretending they're real when they're not and having to go thru the process of slathering themselves in skin whitening lotions or wearing their coloured lenses month after month, year after year..

Like I said if there was one single procedure that could turn a person whiter in one go I bet a hell of a lot of those same desi critics would be rushing down to the clinic to have that done.

And praising 'enhanced celebs' while saying how much all cs is a turnoff** is **hypocritical, most people would be able to see that, no matter how much you try and play with Rizla's original comment on Page 1.

That is my final comment on it.

Re: Plastic surgery

See, even you find that annoying! And we've been dealing with those all through this thread.

Are you saying all those people can't afford cosmetic surgery? That's a pretty wild assumption isn't it? I'm sure most people these days can and a lot of people do get it done. Its two-bit common these days.

Again, a huge blanket statement. Just because you rushed to have cosmetic surgery done doesn't mean most people would. You have absolutely no idea what most people want. Stop reading minds.

No, its not hypocritical. Most people don't give a crap, you keep forgetting that. Our personal opinion is our own and we're entitled to that. Its not hypocrisy. It feels like you live your life black and white. There's never room for a grey area.

It took a while, but finally. Thank you!

Re: Plastic surgery

Well this thread has become a car crash that you cant stop looking at. Disclaimer: These are my own opinions and are in no way meant to offend anybody.

I feel sorry for people who feel the need to undergo cosmetic surgery, (I'm not talking about reconstructive surgery). No-one has the perfect body, no-one is flawless and it's sad when people lack the self esteem and confidence to 'rock' the body they are blessed with.
I have a friend who had her ears pinned back when she was 11, breast inplants at 19 and a nose job at 23. I could never work out what was so wrong with the nose. ears and boobs she had. Shes not long had a baby and now she is on about getting new implants and lipo or a tummy tuck, I've been swimming with her and her body is not gross or anything. I'm really disappointed because she has a small child, why the hell would you take those risks when you could end up leaving your son motherless.

Another thing that perplexes me, lets face it in you teens and 20's your body is probably looking the best it will ever, if you can't make peace with your body when your young, what chance do you have when your in your 40's and gravity takes it toll.

Re: Plastic surgery

I think if a woman wants to do plastic surgery it's her business and if it's a procedure that would make her feel better about herself then i think it's great.

nothing too drastic though, looking at how surgery went with some celebs, ugh they looked better before the 50 procedures
