The point was the difference in attitude and the result (as Farrah already pointed out). As if those same ppl wouldn’t go and get surgery to change those things that they feel insecure about long-term or permanently if they could or could afford to rather than pretending they’re real when they’re not and having to go thru the process of slathering themselves in skin whitening lotions or wearing their coloured lenses month after month, year after year

Are you saying all those people can’t afford cosmetic surgery? That’s a pretty wild assumption isn’t it? I’m sure most people these days can and a lot of people do get it done. Its two-bit common these days.

Like I said if there was one single procedure that could turn a person whiter in one go I bet a hell of a lot of those same desi critics would be rushing down to the clinic to have that done.

Again, a huge blanket statement. Just because you rushed to have cosmetic surgery done doesn’t mean most people would. You have absolutely no idea what most people want. Stop reading minds.

No, its not hypocritical. Most people don’t give a crap, you keep forgetting that. Our personal opinion is our own and we’re entitled to that. Its not hypocrisy. It feels like you live your life black and white. There’s never room for a grey area.
