i have observed that a few of our pakistani celebs have undergone some surgery to get their nose fixed…but thats not the reason why im asking..just want to know your opinion on this topic :-).

^ I think that the nose is one of the more (if the not the most) common plastic surgery that people undergo. Since your nose is the only part of your face that really sticks out...people tend to be more picky about it.
Hypothetically speaking...I'd get my nose fixed even though I've been told it looks right on my face. But in reality...I'm not sure if I'd go through with it. I have a fear of needles...operations of any kind scare the crap out of me. And by altering my nose, I think I'd feel like I've lost a part of my identity everytime I look in the mirror.

Yes, have had cosmetic surgery but just implants, nothing done to my face.. Will change them again but prob not within the next 8-10yrs.. perhaps after I've had kids or something.. I reckon in 10yrs time a trip to a cosmetic surgeon will become as normal as going to see the dentist, already u can get non-surgical nosejobs and fat-dissolving injections that can be done in ur lunch-hour, as procedures are become less invasive, painful and expensive it's going to become that much more common.. Having said that I do think ppl need to be careful, I know of a few girls who've become hooked on it and are obsessed with getting the biggest boobs or the thinnest waist..
Kinda agree with RV about the identity thing, me personally, altho I'm very pro-cosmetic surgery I couldn't see myself really fiddling with my face unless it was something temporary and v.minor like a bit of filler.. except perhaps if it got all mangled in an accident or something..

^Really? I haven't heard about those (not that I'd try it, lol). But I'm curious, how would that work? If no knives are being used....would they change your nose through injections? Or is it through facial exercises or topical solutions?
I've never been keen on my nose, that being said I don't think I could change anything on my face for the same reason RV gave. I'd just feel as if I was looking at someone different in the mirror. I believe that it's our flaws that make us unique anyway.

even though i dont like my certain features but i am not too crazy to have them changed. and aging is a natural process , old ladies look graceful too.=] so iwudnt mind if some day i become one.

Oh i would never go for any such procedure cuz i feel very strongly about two things;
1) Being Natural is the way to go and no matter you get the top class surgery its always gonna show and make you look plastic and that's the worst anyone can do to their self.
2) You may have a big, wide nose or thin lips but believe me every feature of yrs make up yr whole look and make you look the way you are. So i would never change anything about my face or even body in unnatural way. It's all part of who i am and that's how i am suppose 2 be.
I don't like my nose much, lol...i guess 90% dont but still i can't even think of getting it corrected surgically. I mean its ok nobody is born with pefect features...ok yah except Salman Khan :P.

Bit in bold is simply not true.. 90% of the time when someone has had a nosejob u aren’t going to be able to tell unless u have seen them before or seen old photos.. it only tends to become obvious when ppl have multiple procedures or have specifically asked for an obvious ‘ski slope’ or scooped-out look or the surgeon is spectacularly incompetent.. it’s very very rare that a person is going to end up with Michael Jackson or Jodie Marsh type nose that has obviously been messed around with..
One of only a handul of ppl I’ve ever seen who’ve had a really obvious (and shockingly bad) rhinoplasty:

People who think cosmetic surgery is always obvious are naive, there was a thread in this section not all that long ago about the most beautiful women and nearly all those mentioned had had surgery, even those who were believed to be ‘all natural.’
Yeah, it’s done using injections.. can’t make a large nose smaller but can give the illusion that it is by adding filler so everything is more proportional or can fill out humps to make it look more straight.. can be done is as little as just 15minutes and the big plus point (apart from the cost) is that it doesn’t require any bandages or time off work. Some examples:

that's what you think, i still hold the same opinion that all these surgeries are very obvious even if u may not have seen the person's real features before u can tell if something luks unnatural or out of place on their face. God has made you the way you are suppose to so if u mess with it, u wl end up messed up :)
For example, Preity lukd gorgeous in jhoom barabar but every human being with a working eye can tell she lukd unnatural cuz of her surgery(ies). I prefered her better without that gorgeous but atleast natural looking self of yrs in her previous movies.
