that's what you think, i still hold the same opinion that all these surgeries are very obvious even if u may not have seen the person's real features before u can tell if something luks unnatural or out of place on their face. God has made you the way you are suppose to so if u mess with it, u wl end up messed up :)

For example, Preity lukd gorgeous in jhoom barabar but every human being with a working eye can tell she lukd unnatural cuz of her surgery(ies). I prefered her better without that gorgeous but atleast natural looking self of yrs in her previous movies.

What surgery did Preity have done?

Yeah, it’s done using injections.. can’t make a large nose smaller but can give the illusion that it is by adding filler so everything is more proportional or can fill out humps to make it look more straight.. can be done is as little as just 15minutes and the big plus point (apart from the cost) is that it doesn’t require any bandages or time off work. Some examples:

Nasirahmed, if u use that logic of ‘do ppl think they can do a better job that Allah?’ we shouldn’t colour our hair, wear coloured lenses or even mascara on our eyelashes let alone use the skin whitening creams that so many desis have become obsessed with..

Of course makeup can change the look of features dramatically, haven’t u seen how makeup artists can contour a persons cheeks so they look much more chiselled or how foundation can be blended to make a nose appear much narrower (Kim Kardashian is a brilliant example of someone whose face can look so different with makeup compared to without - and yes, I’m aware she’s also had surgery).

It’s kinda rude to imply that anyone who’s had surgery suffers from an inferiority complex and also ironic when usually those coming out with this stuff are the same ones using skin lightening creams or foundation 3 shades too light to try and look fairer. Many ppl on here use coloured contact lenses, do they have an inferiority complex too? Or perhaps those who use lengthening mascara or eyelash extensions? Are they also not happy with what Allah gave them or is it just a case of ‘that stuff is ok cos I do it.’ People should live and let live and not be so judgmental.. For anyone who thinks makeup doesn’t make as much difference:

i have never seen makeup change features.
thats paint job u are referring to,when u mix all the cosmetic stuff present on table and apply it over your face as if there is no tommorrow.that can change features.
doing make up has nothing to do with cosmetic surgery.its same as two girls owning suzuki FX.one cleans her fx everyday and polishes it while other one takes her fx to bilal ganj where she have's the 800cc engine replaced by 4000cc intercooler Diesel engine.this dosent sounds one and same or does it???

the pics u posted,i see no difference seriously.in the last two pics the angle of camera is changed through which u can see more left nostril in the first pic.its could be an optical illusion for u lol but it dosent makes the nose smaller or bigger.

ok yeah i dont agree with facial surgery unless, God forbid, there was external damage or birth defects...

but tummy tuck, boob job, lipo? sure why not.

The only thing i'd probably ever go for would be liposuction, tummy tuck and maybe teeth whitening.

NEVER facial stuff. YUCK. I hate it when women look all botoxed out, i mean gosh you can actually look gorgeous without surgery.

I had my heart set on a NY based plastic surgeon who is very very gifted with rhinoplasty, but he wanted to put me under general anesthesia which scared the bageezus out of me:( plus I began thinking like an economist in terms of opportunity cost and thought of spending the $11,000 he was asking for on a vacation and designer clothing:p

I think getting braces also comes under the same category and I have gotten braces TWICE and getting them a third time soon. I will share my terrible experience getting braces from the uppity harvard school grads that own rahman and rahman some other time on a separate thread. In a nutshell, they ruined my teeth , my jaw alignment and I suffer from twitches coz of their poor work. I am not in a venting out mood at the moment:) but i really want to share my experience with guppies here so you folks can make a more informed decision when it comes to your teeth:) so I will def talk about these folks later:)

I don't think I'd ever have surgery. I don't look/feel amazing all the time but there's nothing about myself that I absolutely hate and that I think needs "fixing". Besides, there's so much more I'd rather do with my money than spend it on surgery :)
