ladies who are planning pregnancy are advised to start taking folic and Omega 3 tablets a few months ahead of time right ?..

What other things should be kept in mind ? diet wise particularly…:hmmm:

Make sure you drink plenty of water. Eat fruits and green veggies.

ditto what the others said. it's good to be healthy when you're thinking about getting pregnant. it helps that you're body is in good shape when you do become pregnant.

so start eatin' all them broccoli CB! :D

get more physical than you are right now! go to the gym or go walking or get a Wii Fit or whatever. it helps to have a strong body considering it'll be carrying around anywhere from 20-40 lbs additionally in a healthy pregnancy!

also schedule a physical with your doctor, and get your iron checked. its very important to have good iron levels in your body since they baby will be depending on you for its supply and you'll need it for yourself too.

Start taking pre natal vitamins, go to gym or exercise more often,eat healthy so your hormones don t get messed up, no tension and depression.Get full sleep and relax.

drink milk everyday , it's good for u and good for your baby

I once attended a session organised by my company to motivate their women employees to drink milk. In that session they told u that a normal female (not pregnant) should rink 2 glasses of milk everyday and a pregnant female should drink 4 glasses.

Don't think about it too much...do the best for your body but remember to enjoy.... and don't stress about it when the time to have your period comes.... that is the best way... make lots of duaa and before being intimate read the assigned duaa for it ....it does mention aulaad...

Throw the rule book out of the window... (sometimes it works!).

But generally speaking, keep fit and healthy, good balanced diet, etc, etc.

There are some multivits Pregnacare Pre-conception or something like that, which some ppl r saying are good.

Don't just take any vitamins..from what I've heard too much vitamin A is not good for baby's brain.

Folic acid is a must to take when you are planning pregnancy. Because folic acid works best till pregnancy reaches 6th week and mostly women came to know abt their pregnancy after 4th or 6th week. so it's better to start taking it when u r planning.

Visit your doctor and let them know you plan to start trying. They will do a full checkup, including a bunch of blood work. They will also make sure your immunizations are uptodate. For example, if you dont have immunity to German measles, they will tell you to get the vaccine and then wait 3 months before trying
