Watched it yesterday and totally loved it. Acting and direction is first rate. Anyone else seen it yet ?

I watched it on Sunday. I like the way the philosophical, social topics were raised given its a bollywood movie and the general movie going crowd. Great job done. As always , Amir Khan was brilliant. Loved his Bhojpuri. The beginning was VERY stupid hands down though.

I'd recommend all bollywood fans to watch it atleast once.

Saw it last night.....WHAT AN AMAZING MOVIE.

What made it even more enjoyable was that I was absolutely unaware of the story/plot of the movie. I only saw one trailer which make me feel like as it was a movie with AK is someone like Tom Hanks from Big. So I was very pleasantly surprised at the actual plot of the movie and loved every minute of it.

PS: Secretly during last 5 minutes of the movie I wanted to shout out Pakistan Zindaaaaaabad but I controlled myself :)

Watched it recently in cinema....it was a good laugh...i liked the issues/concerns that were raised (nothing original there but it was good to see it on a detailed level). Apart from that the film had some very silly and typical moments...music is nothing great...sushant and sanjays roles were not needed at all. Acting wise all were ok...amir khans acting looked mechanical...he just happens to do good subject films but is a mediocre actor. Anushka was ok too. Overall it was a good laughter and is a one time watch.

It has a story of an Indian girl falling in love with a Pakistani guy. Like Ali Zafar’s movie Aman ki Asha

PK is name of Aamir khan’s character i think.

My question is, will Indian extremists digest this idea of having tolerance when it comes to religion? If yes, how'll they spread the hatred against muslims then?
Or in simple words, Phir wo apni dukaan men kya bechinge?

thanks I saw the trailer and figured it out... to be very honest, to me Amir Khan is over acting in this film .. yes its a role but it doesnt suit him, I loved his film 'lagaan' where it was a role that suited him, why do guys in his age have to act like little boys.

if the girl is a Muslim then it makes sense otherwise not unless the couple met outside their own countries.

The movie is getting released with no problem. Only few people had issues but they have issues with lots of things. It is setting new records the fact that it is an Indian girl, who is Hindu, liking a Pakistani boy, who is Muslim, is not an issue. Ali Zafar had a movie called Aman ki Asha which released no problem.
All societies have extremists even in West but it’s about controlling them.

Don’t worry nafrat ka business ke liye customers to mil jayenge..whether Pakistan or India. But not all are like that.

I haven’t seen the movie but i feel like older actors like the Khans do these roles to have a younger image and keep up with younger actors. They have a massive fan base so whatever movie they do will do ok business. It’s like 55-60 yr old guys who buy porsches to appear younger and impressive.
