I wore a beige and golden pishwas on my valima. It looked awesome. If you pick a nice color and heavy kaam it will look very beautiful.

noooooooooooooooooooo. pishwas will be good for mhendi or day after walima but gharara or lehnga is more advisable.

You're already wearing a lehnga - Im assuming - on your wedding. Why go for the same look in a different color combo?
Go for a peshwas! Ive seen a lot of brides do it now because they dont want the same look both days. I would say, keep the color combo nice also but make the kaam eye-popping!

wearing a pishwas on the walima was really in about a decade ago and the trend has definitely returned with a bang. more and more brides are wearing a pishwas for the walima.

I wore a ferozi one for my valima. It's my favorite outfit from my bari.
EDIT: Actually mine was an angharka. I think both kinds of outfits are great!
i think a peshwas is perfect for a walimah as it looks super and is practical for future wear…hope these help:

Anarkali Choridaar for Valima
Hi,
I am looking for an anarkali chooridaar (with a little kaam ofcourse) to wear on my valima. The colors I would like are that of the lehnga abrar ul haq's wife wore on her valima, light green and baby pink. It is a very simple valima, which is why I don't want a lehnga. Me and my husband were married a whileeee back but due to a death in the family we never had a valima. And now, being a mother of beautiful daughter I am having a valima, lol.
Can someone please please find me pictures or give me ideas of a choridaar in that color? My MIL will have it made for me from Pakistan.
