i'm not sure.. but i would'nt go for pishwas on walima. Pishwas on mehndi is a good idea though.
I think i'd go with pishwaas..bdw is that the same as an anarkali dress? My bhabhi (who's my nand aswell :D) is wearing a red and turquoise lengha on the wedding day inshallah and for the valima we bought her a pink and silver anarkali dress with churidar pajama..my sister also wore an anarkali dress on her valima and it looked really nice. It'd look good because you're not wearing a similiar style of outfit on both days.

I don’t think this one was the best choice for this bride, or maybe it’s just the setting her posture. But you can see she looks just as much like a bride.

yeah....this may not have been the best example.....there are many heavier and more vibrantly coloured pishwaases available.
but do what you feel like doing....nevermind what others want.

There is really nice ones in the UK! we got my sister in laws from here and its pink and FULL of kaam, silver kaam. the dupatta is nice and light though, so im sure u'll be able to find something :)

The long qameez will make you look a little shorter, but 5'4 isn't super short so it shouldnt be a big problem. I would wear at least 2.5-3" heels to counteract the effect though.

so long as its fitted really well and you're in heels, it shouldn't be an issue at all! i've worn longer shirts in the past with high heels and if anything, they're more flattering for those of us with curves because they lengthen your silhouette. good fitting from the chest/waist area is very important.
Is this done in kaamdani?
