This morning after fajar prayer. Unintentionally I saw a brother. Digging deep inside his nose, in full public view.

What’s up with desies and their habit of picking their nose in the public ?
I did not know the guy but even if I knew him I would not have stomach to go and give him lecture on etiquettes of nose picking.
Can I ?
If yes how delicately I can do that ?

You can,t stop people from picking their noses..really..yes it,s discussting..but..i see people doing it in their cars..usually by the traffic lights..!
I think there was an opera show on this topic..

I do not want to stop them. Once in a while everbody feels the urge for it . But it should be done in the privacy of a rest room so that the hands can be washed afterwards. No ?
You are right , kings and queen , president’s , ministers all do it. But not in public
No after the namaz when we sit down after namaz for a little lecture on some topic.
There is nothing wrong with picking the nose you have clean it but it should be done in privacy of a toilet, washroom, rest room etc , so that the person can wash hand afterwards. Yes we wash our behind after excreting but we wash our hands afterwards. No ?

PS: i’m sure, by u posting here about his nose picking…he’ll soon receive WAHII from ALLAH and will correct his manners so next time you won’t have too endure the pain of seeing someone picking their nose.

just one of the disgusting things that should be avoided in public
spitting, scratching your butt are equally bad (If done when there are other people around - If you are alone then scratch away by all means if you feel the need :D )
If I remember correctly there was a clip on youtube of some minister (not a desi) or something similar, picking his nose, inspecting his finger and then kinda licking it with his tongue (EWWWWWWWWWwwwww) caught on camera and beamed live all across the world.
Desi tend to do it more often as compared to non-desis
(YES - I do too , but not very often and certainly not in public)

For those who are trying to be funny. Now it is my turn to be funny. Here are more details to disgust you.
- This guy is sitting inside the Masjid hall , he is dropping his nose digs on the masjid carpet where you will put our nose and forehead while we make sajda for Zuhar or any other prayer.
- Breakfast is served on Saturdays after Fajar prayer in this particular Masjid in Islamic style ( sitting on the floor in rows facing each other) dishes full of breakfast items are passed around to each other by everybody because it is not buffet .
- Now imagine the hands of person , who was digging his nose , did not wash hands after this soul fulfilling activity and touched all the dishes and food being served . Now would you eat the food which might contain remnants of this person's nose digs. No ?
This all prompted me to start this thread if you are digging your nose in the privacy of your car , or in your porch or your home window that does not bother me.

scratching the butt aint that bad....its still part of your body..like a hand or back of your..unless you are scracthing the main bit of the posterior ............and often in which case go see a doctor!!!

^ yeah wot is wrong with scratching your butt if you've got an itch? Or should one feel uncomfortable for a long while because someone can't endure seeing you scratch for 2 seconds? I don't like people kissing in public like there is no tomorrow but hey i don't go telling others what they can and can't do. And speaking of butt scratching, what about butt grabbing :D i've seen people, mostly young, doing it with their partners in public.
