i had my hair down for the mehndi and it was fine at the beginning but its better to put it up as rasams include putting the flowered earrings etc...They also put oil sometimes which runs down your back which becomes so yuck after words!
I love the way Nadia Hussain has done it.

I’m also planning to have my hair down on my mendhi with a little flower behind the ear :wub:…hair will be up on Nikka and Walima so nice to have a change…
Here are some pics of Mutz wife who did basically what i want…looks really nice and if you’ve got alot of hair and make it wavy/curly this will look really nice.
Cant see too much but is when she walked in with her dupata on…

Pk thats great that you want your hair down on the Mehndi day - I cant actually post any pics as I need to get to 25 posts! But I'm having 2 mehndies - 1st day wearing Yellow with Silver Kadayi and having me hair up, 2nd Mehndi having it half up and half out where I will get some fresh flowers put in the hair and wrists!
