So here it is..it might look odd to you. I couldnt put the sari on properly for some reason. It was annoying me. We had also ordered a taxi to take us to the wedding and when it had arrived, i was still trying to put it on…i had to take it off 4-5times but couldnt get it right. Finally gave up and thought that these italians wouldnt notice so thats why its not touching the ground!
1st pic with my gorgeous hubby mashallah.
2nd pic with my manager who also attended and was a pain in the bottom!

Thanks! It didnt look too over the top. Alot of people were wearing black and im glad i chose this colour. It has a lil kaam on the border and on the pallu..jewellery went well...and i love my hubby for that...x

Cant see much of the jewellery Sunset, i can tell its silver.
I can tell that the Sari and the kaam in real life would look awesome. Its very elegant. I like such saris.
Dont like the banarsi ones and the aunties with love handles and tight blouses who wear 'em

The camera didnt pick up on the kaam and plus it was bit windy for that lil moment.
Heheh…i know what you mean about the love handles. Can they not see that its not very elegant to show these handles…?

Aqua-less - Love handles are the pieces of fat dangling and visible off old aunties when they wear saris. Or if you can grab your waist - thats love handles!

Thanks 714, even if i had posted my face, you wouldnt be able to see the eyeshadow. I chose a very light brown/golden with shimmer in it!

Sorry sista but that looks FUGLY.
Saaris in general are ugly and look like cocoons (not to mention unpractical) but that bright color you got is sauney pe suhaaga.
Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to wear something Italian/Mediterranean? Even a Pakistani Trouser-Tunic* (Shalwar-Kamiz)* suit would have been quite international and more suitable for a wedding.
Saaris are the most ungraceful and archaic-looking piece of clothing around, they should be made illegal, worse than Arab gowns and Paki men's SK.

it looks lovely, sweet_taboo saris r very graceful its just that sum ppl dont wear them or carry them properly, but if worn well they look so elegant and graceful :)

Its a really lovely color- Perhaps just a bit more practise with the pleats though :)
