PIA is not safe to fly any more esp. domestic flights to northern/mountainous areas. Most of the planes are too old and outdated.
International flights are relatively safe

47 people lost their life in crash.. Prominent figure Junaid Jamshed and his wife Ayesha Juanaid were also in plane.
This year is full of pain. Abdul Satter Edhi, Amjad Sabri and now Junaid Jamshed…

Few months back we were mourning the death of Amjad Farid Sabri. On 16th, the second anniversary of APS kids incident is coming, and now this.
Why do I feel that we are just not getting a break from these tragedies?!! Its so sad and heartbreaking.

A family member of Saeed Anwar has confirmed Saeed was due to return on the PIA flight that crashed but instead he stayed back in Chitral

Is it old planes or shoddy maintenance as Southwest flies older planes here and turn a profit?
PIA, like other organizations, has been destroyed since the seventies by sifarish and quota system, but oh no can’t criticize that since it is the birth right of “sons of the soil”…

This plane was acquired in 2007 as a result of some bargain. Ofcourse it was old at that time as well but experts say these planes are relatively safe and no complaints yet. But if its a technical fault leading to huge causalities, its really terrible from engineering point of view. I dont know how in-depth analysis is going to be done now but thats wut is needed alongwith corrective actions.
