One of the Quranic transcribers, Yazeed al Faarisee, related that he saw the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in a dream during the era of Ibn Abbas and informed him. Ibn Abbas said, “Allahs Messenger (pbuh) used to say, ‘Satan is unable to imitate my form, so whoever dreamt that they saw me, actually saw me’. Can you describe the person that you saw?” Yazeed replied, “Yes. I saw a man of medium height, of light brown hair, with a nice laugh, black eyes, a nicely rounded face. His beard filled from here to here (from one cheek to another) and almost filled his neck” [at this point the haidth narrator, Awf, interjected that he could not remember the other characteristics Yazeed mentioned]. Ibn Abbas said*, “If you saw him while you were awake you wouldn’t have been able to describe him better!”*

Those are two irrelevent statements. We should not worship him but follow him is correct. Not knowing how he looks like is something I never heard of. There are numerous famous ahaadeeth on how he:saw: looked like.

Yeah vague stuff, like he had a beard and jolly eyes.
This description is like a more concrete one, that you can bring up a visual in your mind. Its like painting a picture of the Prophet with words...yet we're not allowed to do that with paint?

ive seen PROPHETS hair and his tooth in BADSHAHI mosque of lahore .. some retard dip **** stole the hair but they still have his one tooth and his clothing and cane ..
and as far as i know of portraying HIS pbuh pic .. then its haram at the first place .. taking pic of any humen is haram no ? i guess it just gets more strict in Mohammad (pbuh) case since he was a prophet .

He had neither very curly nor flowing hair but a mixture of both… He was reddish-white; he had wide black eyes and long eyelashes. He had protruding joints and shoulder-blades… Between his shoulders was the seal of prophecy… He had a finer chest than anyone else, was truer in utterance than anyone else, and had the gentlest nature and the noblest lineage. Those who saw him stood suddenly in awe of him and those who shared his acquaintance loved him. Those who described him said they had never seen anyone like him before or since’.” * Tirmidhi Hadith, Number 1524
