The pple who knew him and had seen him is one thing. Its when a person dies, after which if people have made portraits of him...they begin to worship him at times.

And that's what I understood is wrong about portrait paintings, etc. Its the threat of worshipping a hero gets turned into worshipping a deity. This happens well after death, so the people who had seen him wont be subject to this phenomenon usually - its usually their future generations.

He had red hair. In Jama Masjid in Delhi, for 500 rs..the mullah will show you one of the hair.

But there is nothing wrong with written text describing what he looked like. You cant worship the text.
