you criticised the moustache–the hadith you are referring to warns againsty not letting the moustache grow overly long and with a clean shaven face–like the majusi did…it doesn’t say moustache + beard is not allowed!

If he is really following tradition(s) of Muhammed(saw) then, those big old black mustashes shouldn't be there. Its was strictly enforced that man should keep beard and NOT mustashes.
So, tell him to come into Islam wholeheartedly and then preach what ever 'ism' he has to preach. Wearing fancy cloths and collecting riches on the expense of peoples ignorance is NOT part of deen and is totally against the Islamic shariah.
How would he feel giving those fancy cloths to someone who is half-naked and is wandering on the streets and he him self wears some "white-kurtaa" and lives life simply like Muhammed(saw) did?
btw= your master/lord, saviour, your healer, your guardian, your helper in time of need is ALLAH only, don't take others in partner ship with him.

Remember Allah says about his awliya, the Saints: Verily upon the awliya of Allah there is no fear, nor do they grieve." In the Qur'an Allah asks us to seek a "wasila" to Him. He also commands is Surah Fatiha: Guide us on the straight path--the path of those whom you have favoured.

abd ul basit---YOU dont know your Islam so try learning it from a proper scholar. also how dare you criticise a wali of Allah like that! i am sure you do not even have correct aqidah and dont know the alif ba ta of islam but you are arrogant enough to criticise a person whose whole life is saturated with islam IN PRACTISE and whom is respected all over the Muslim world for his piety and his knowledge. In fact that it a typical wahabi response. you wahabis are steeped in heretical innovations and bad-aqeedah and are putting muslim s off islam and yet you ciriticise the sufis for their 100% adherence to real Islam. I got a suggestion? How about saying the kalimah again?
you should do tawba for you no doubt will invite the wrath of Allah onto you for Allah says he declares war on anyone who insults his awliya.
