I didn't get...how does this master/lord business work? I am just curious to know....Is it the same as the pathetic concept of Piri/fakeeri?
like you go to a physical healer [physician] for the well fare of your physical health similarly you go to a spiritual guide for the healing of your spiritual sicknesses such as envy, jealousy, pride, anger, lust etc. i.e. all the animalistic qualities of the Ego.
The word “pir” is just an Urdu/Farsi equivalent of the Arabic word “Shaykh”. In Sufism it is has a specific usage–a person who has completed the journey to Allah and is now qualified and authorised to lead his disciples [murids] to Him too via the path of Tassawuf.
Unfortunately many fake pirs exist but this does not negate the reality and authority of the true pirs who undoubtedly exist as is proven from the Qur’an and hadith. The Qur’anic term for them is wali pl. auliya.
Whats with the princly clothing.....arent these ppl supposed to be simple and stuff.
yep..it amazes me also..why they wear such fabulous clothing and live princely… even Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) lived like ordinary people… I know some pirs in Pakistan who r my friends and their real worth

Is their anything wrong with being wealthy? Hazrat Abu Bakr radhi Allah anhu was one of the wealthiest men in ARabia as was Hazrat Umar. And it is sunnah to show gratitude to Allah Ta’ala’ for His favours by dressing according to your status. Dressing in rags doesn’t make one a “holy man”. It is about the status of your heart and your itibaa of Huzoor Pak’s sunnah. And my Shaykh alhamdulillah follows the Sunnah to the letter and the amount of wealth spent on the poor and needy by him you cannot even imagine. Despite being blessed with wealth he lives an extremely humble life and barely eats or drinks–just enough to satisfy hunger–THAT is sunnaH!-and spends most of his blessed time in ibadat or in helping the thousands of people who come to him all the time both materially and spiritually. So please do not criticise if you do not know. Why not meet the Shaykh and feel the ruhaniyyat and presence for yourself. Remember Allah says about his awliya, the Saints: Verily upon the awliya of Allah there is no fear, nor do they grieve." In the Qur’an Allah asks us to seek a “wasila” to Him. He also commands is Surah Fatiha: Guide us on the straight path–the path of those whom you have favoured. These saintly people are the one’s who follow in the true footsteps of the Blessed Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam and in whose path we are to be guided.
As for my Shaykh he is one of the few Shaykhs in Pakistan who are a true wali Allah and who live only and only for the Deen. You should meet him and see for yourselves. Anyway this is not a religious forum so I am not interested in a debate at all.
As for whether one need’s awliya to get to Allah–the answer is a clear yes but I will just ask you to go to www.naqshbandi.org and look it up there. For a series of malfuzat by my Grandshaykh, --my Shaykh’s Shaykh Hazrat Ameer e Millat Pir SAyyid Jama’at Ali Shah rahmatullah alayhi–go to www.nfie.com. The importance and status of my Grandshaykh can be gathered just from this that he has become he subject of a PhD study in Islam in a top American university. This thesis was by Dr. Arthur Beuhler and has now been published as a book entitled, Sufi Heirs of the Prophet : The Indian Naqshbandiyya and the Rise of the Mediating Sufi Shaykh.(BTW Dr. Beuhler embraced Islam after researching the Shaykh’s life!) Amongst those who sat at his feet for barakah were a certain Allamah Muhammad Iqbal and another person whom enjoyed the blessings of Grandshaykh was a certain man by the name of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In fact Grandshaykh was instrumental in getting support for the Qaid’s Pakistan Movement amongst the masses esp. since so many of the Wahabis and Deobandi ulama openly called the Qaid as Kafir-e-Azam and were against the pakistan movement. Read the book.
Above all of course my beloved Shaykh is a wali and a direct blood descendent from both maternal and paternal sides of Our Beloved Master Huzoor Sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam.

respect when referring to Allah's Beloved Messenger Hazrat Muhammad al Mustafa sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam as you have been ordered to do so countless times in the Qur'an if you fear for your iman and secondly to answer your question there IS NO difference between the teachings of my beloved pir sahib [or any other true and saccha wali] and that of Huzoor Pak alayhisalatosalam. These people are the true heirs of Huzoor Paak sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam since they follow not just the OUTER practices of Islam but also the INNER purification practices too.

You people are pathetic, what you don't own a camera? you probably have the most expensive Sony digital camcorder in your stinky closet. You probably own real gold jewelery which you show off in your stupid Acura and you probably have a stupid goatee which you think is islamic and makes you pious. These people live real simple, peaceful and humble lives and devote countless hours for islam, I have met some who even fought in Jihad in Afghanistan and kashmir although being so well off themselves. Tell me how much you devote. So stop putting them under some islamic microscope and go polish your infiniti while your girlfriend makes a movie of it.
