Union minister of state Giriraj Singh on Wednesday said what was happening in Pakistan was friendly fighting. He was referring to the attack by Taliban militants on an army school in Peshawar in which 141 people including 132 children were gunned down.
“Whatever is happening in Pakistan is called friendly fight,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
In the following tweet, however, he condemned the attack.
Giriraj Singh had in the past embroiled in a controversy as he said during general election campaign that those who were opposed to Narendra Modi (then BJP candidate) should be sent to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack. He also spoke to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over phone. Parliament also condemned the attack.

Obviously it is wrong what he said on twitter and to be condemned as well. Indian politicians, especially right wing ones, are not known for their sensitivity. That i could see from their comments on rape incidents. I am still surprised they had the 2 min silence in parliament.

Reminds me of Abdul Aziz’s and Mufti Naeem’s indifference.
