I am not trying to control what you or others say. You are much older and more experienced than me. I was just giving statements on how Pakistani people might see it. Yes, there is lot of positive and some negative online. I agree what you said about this thread and i was talking online in general. People who make cowardly comments online do not always voice these opinions in real life. Initially i thought i would counter the negative on either side but I think this is too big a project for me and too exhausting. You know i am going through a lot right now but this event touched me and made me shed further tears. It inspired me to post all these candlelight vigils. Generally now i’ve decided to stay out of India vs Pakistan comparisons either of political events, tragedies, or in entertainment and sports.
As for secularism vs non secularism. This is why i recommended watching Shanakht. There are also plenty of liberal minded people like those at Lal masjid protest who can make right decisions if they want to head in that direction.
