personal grooming in public spaces

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

I don't mind applying makeup in public places but the rest is a big NO NO!

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

I forgot to add:

After using the nail clipper, I courteously offer it to my fellow passengers.
I was always told by my mommy that it is nice to share.

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

^never ever share something as personal as a nail clipper

personal grooming in public spaces

Not sure if this was mentioned but I hate seeing people brushing their teeth in mall or restaurant bathrooms. The only place I am considerate of it is at an airport because people can be there for long periods but at the mall? Really??? Yuck

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

Digging for gold.....in the nose as opposed to wallet. Then examining gold nugget before flicking it away.

^ right up there with clipping nails.

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

Brings back memories. In school the Principal would call out any kid doing that by using exact phrase -digging gold mine. Tthis was at the morning Assembly where all students line up.

As for brushing teeth in malls, the homeless use those facilities in certain regions.

No no these aren't homeless people, they don't allow homeless to hang around the malls to much here and there aren't any in the suburbs anyway, these are regular people that are either compulsive about having to brush after every meal or just carry one around...

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

^ Ok. At work some brush in the afternoon. Makes sense though.

What bugs me is when movies show people brushing and talking.

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

:)

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

Brushing and talking is disgusting. I would be slobbering all over the place. :emmy:

personal grooming in public spaces

^yes! Kinda gross. And then they show them spit and walk away with out rinsing! Lol maybe it's just me but gross?

Re: personal grooming in public spaces

I didn't want to bring last part of not rinsing. I agree. I turn away when they show this scene.
