Personal Documents found...

Are we supposed to believe that these guys are so smart that they can evade all detections and slip thorugh security checks and complete their mission, yet so dumb that they bring their personal documents along with them and conviniently leave them near the scene for the law authorities to find ala passports surviving 9/11 destruction.

LONDON (Reuters) - Police said on Tuesday they were trying to establish whether four men had blown themselves up in last week’s London explosions in what would be the first suicide attacks in Britain.

“The investigation quite early led us to have concerns about the movements and activities of four men, three of whom came from the West Yorkshire area,” said Peter Clarke, head of Scotland Yard’s anti-terrorist branch.
“We are trying to establish their movements in the run up to last week’s attacks and specifically to establish whether they all died in the explosions.”
He said police had found personal documents with the names of three suspects close to the scene of three of last Thursday’s blasts, which the government says bear the hallmark of al Qaeda-style Islamist militants.
It was “very likely” that one suspect had died in one of the blasts, at Aldgate underground station, Clarke said.
Suicide bombers have never previously struck in Britain, and police played down the possibility of a suicide attack in the days immediately after the blasts.
The four men had traveled to London on the day of the blasts and been captured on closed-circuit television footage at King’s Cross station shortly before 8:30 a.m.
Three bombs exploded within 50 seconds of each other at 8:50 a.m. on subway trains which had all passed through King’s Cross. A fourth exploded 57 minutes later on a bus not far away.
Clarke said police had found personal documents with the names of three of the men close to the scenes of three blasts.
He said it was very likely that one of the four suspects had died in the explosion at Aldgate station.
FAST DEVELOPMENTS
The revelations came on a day of fast-moving developments, with police carrying out six searches in Yorkshire, including at the homes of three of the four suspects. One man was arrested in those raids, Clarke said.
In the city of Leeds, army experts set off a controlled explosion outside one of the houses to give police access. Detectives said the searches were a “significant” part of their probe into the London attacks.
Some 500 people were evacuated from the surrounding streets of red brick terraced houses and a large area of the rundown, racially mixed area of the city was cordoned off.
Police also seized a vehicle found in a car park at Luton, near London, which they believed was linked to the investigation, Clarke said.
“I have to tell you that this investigation is moving at great speed,” he said.
FRUSTRATION
The raids came as frustration was mounting at what many grieving relatives feel is slow progress in formally identifying the victims of the bombings, which killed at least 52 and injured 700.
Leeds, a city of 715,000 people in northern England, has a Muslim population of around 30,000 – one of the largest in Britain. In May 2001, it was one of a series of northern towns which saw rioting between Asian and white youths blamed on ethnic, religious and racial divisions.
Luton, where police closed streets near the station so they could move the suspect car, also has a large Muslim population.
After a wave of public scorn and indignation, the U.S. Air Force rescinded an order banning its personnel at two air bases in Britain from visiting London in the wake of the bombings.
London police chief Ian Blair had urged the Americans to reverse their decision as British authorities had been urging people to return to work and normality.

Re: Personal Documents found…

Are you rapidly losing the capacity for rationale thought or what? Tell me what “detections” these guys had to artfully “evade” and what “security checks” they needed to go through to get on the Tube or board a bus in London? Even a terrorist would carry with him a wallet, a little money and, most importantly, some form of identification. If by some slight chance he was asked by some bobby to produce identification, he would need it don’t you think? Of course, a real good terrorist would probably have idenitification papers that were forged although it might be getting more difficult and dangerous to obtain false identification in the UK and the US because of heightened homeland security measures.

How many people riding public transportation in London do you think carry backpacks, purses and/or packages? If that were a ground for suspicion, no one would be riding them. It is estimated that the average person riding a subway in London would be caught on tape 300 times a day. Do you think there are tens of thousands of people monitoring cameras in all the London subway systems on a real-time basis? Those cameras aren’t there to detect suspicious people and act as security checkpoints you know. They are to capture images of what happened so that AFTER the fact, they can be perused by law enforcement to give them clues. Latest reports from London is that law enforcement has identified on tapes four suspicious guys who entered a Subway station together before the blasts.

Finally, it appears as if those guys were suicide bombers and they could care less whether they were identified AFTER the mission was over. It’s like being a human torch. It’s a great act but you can only do it once.

MV, maybe you have forgotten about the first rule of suicide bombing as publicized by the high intllects of Israeli intelligence agency..."they never carry any form of identification". Plus, my question is still not answered, although you tried.

Re: Personal Documents found...

I think you're making assumptions Kaleem without knowing the details. Give them sometime before you call coverup.

Re: Personal Documents found...

Kaleem these weren't suicide bombings.. they were timed devices.. which brings us to this question of how dumb do u have to be to sit around wait for a timed explosion to occur while still in it's range??

Re: Personal Documents found…

Don’t know about Mossad publications. However, given that the Israelis bulldoze down the houses of living relatives of suicide bombers, they have an incentive to remain unknown even in death. Further, suicide bombers need to sneak around checkpoints to get into Israel and not go through them. When they are caught sneaking, they usually just blow themselves up before needing to provide ID papers.

Suicide bombers in London don’t live in the same environment. And yes, your questions are answered as there were no detections or checkpoints these guys needed to evade. They boarded public transportation just like they have probably done thousands of times. Only this time, there packages were bombs.

Re: Personal Documents found…

don’t tell me they also found a white saloon car parked adjacent to one of the train stations with copy of the koran and a tape with instructions on how to set up remote controlled bombs :halo: deja vu i swear i have seen this scene before but can’t quite remember when hmmmm :bukbuk:

Re: Personal Documents found…

Apparently not PA. Reports today are that four guys blew themselves up with their packages. The British authorities are particularly examing a decapitated head and headless corpse on the bus. Apparently, the British have been advised that suicide bus bombers typically are decapitated during the explosion.

Re: Personal Documents found...

To me it seems like a recap of denials that we saw after 9/11.

US accused Al Qaida & Osama for 9/11; Osama praised the attackers and gave them glad tidings of Jannah; one group of denialists blamed the Jews, the other the CIA, the rest accused US foreign policy. Some went as far as to prove that the planes were infact empty and the whole drama was staged.

Now, on one hand we blame UK's involvement in the Iraq war that led to the bombing, but then turn around to say 'what does Muslims have to gain from it' ... It is actually the Jews.

Is it that hard to be consistent?

Re: Personal Documents found...

Yes ahmadjee, just like it is hard to tell the world why the hell are we in Iraq to begin with? On one hand we are liberating Iraqi people, on the other hand incidents like Abu Gharib happen, then we tell the world that we are rebuilding Iraq, however, we are missing billions of dollars in Iraq, first we said we were going there for WMDs, then democracy, then freedom and now "stability". You tell me how hard is it to be consistent?

Re: Personal Documents found…

Ok, I give you that. Now let me ask you this, if you were to plan something like that, would’nt you try everything within your power to hide your identity and any material that can foil your plot. Come on MV, its not that complicated. You dont leave your “personal documents” by the crime scene.

Re: Personal Documents found...

Kaleem Bhai, two wrongs don't make it right.

Re: Personal Documents found…

denial? u need to wean yourself off of the corporate media and their news specials and start reading up on the truth..

actually he didn’t.. but a fake video showing him with dubbed voices did.. Other countries called out the fake. but hey what does that matter.. u heard it was so on CNN .. so it must be the truth.

no one blamed any Jews.. but there were people quick to blame the Muslims.. I didn’t see u object to that? People did point out the numerous incosistencies in the admin’s account.. it wasn’t short of a fairytale.. yet u’re eager to believe that .. what’s the harm in considering the alternative? it isn’t that there is no historical precedence of the CIA involvement in such activities or Israel creating terror attacks to blame on Arab countries.. catch up on history.

actually apologists did.. those who in their hearts want harm to come to the US found pathetic excuses.. but all the while it strenghtens the admin’s theory of disgruntled baddus attacking the US, therefore they’re the one’s allowed to voice it on corporate media ..

simple case of disinformation.. many a times credible theories are shot down using the Strawman intentionally inserted by those aiming to destroy the whole investigation.. it’s easy to plant bogus stuff like planes were empty, missile hit towers or no plane at Pentagon.. there’ll be loonies who cling to it and then the perpetrators can turn back and point at these absurdities thus ruling out their culpability..

NO WE DON"T!! some random guy butting into a CNN interview does.. try butting into a CNN interview and say Israel did it.. let’s see if CNN doesn’t use their 10 sec delay on ‘LIVE’ coverage to spike you and your comments.. these kind of comments again help strengthen the theory that Arabs/Muslims did it..

you tell me ahmadjee how have Muslims gained in this.. they are the most reviled today cuz of their religion.. or Arabs cuz of their ethnicity.. they are villified in the media, their religions dragged through dirt by gleeful bigots and their influence diminished around the world.. on the other hand, the perpetrators have an excellent excuse to bypass checks and balances, take more liberties away from their people, invade countries to rob them off their resources.

Re: Personal Documents found...

PA bhaijaan, maybe you should enlighten my news-media-brain-washed self who actually is behind the 9/11 attacks and the London Bombings and the Madrid bombings and what credible source of information do you have?

Re: Personal Documents found…

^ PA, maybe the dingo ate your baby :mudhosh:

Re: Personal Documents found...

PD, do you watch Curb Your Enthusiasm?

Re: Personal Documents found…

ahmadjee bhaijaan i’m no expert… all i can say is that the glaring inconsistencies in the admin’s account of what really happened hasn’t convinced me yet that it was some idiots living in a cave in Afghanistan who masterminded it.

My credible source of information would be the holes in the ‘official’ story.. or the blatant lies perpetrated by the media.. if I don’t know who to trust.. i at least I know who NOT to trust… tell me u’re not still watching them after they sold the Iraq war to you wrapped in 9/11 patriotism.

I can’t for certain say who did the 9/11 attacks or these bombings.. but i sure can understand who is fully capable of doing them, want to do them or who’d directly benefit from it.

Re: Personal Documents found...

Great!

I guess we are free to choose our boogieman. Last I read there were inconsistencies in the story that Hitler died. There is no proof that he died as his body was never found. I think he is behind it all. After all he holds a 50 year long grudge against the 'allied forces'.

Re: Personal Documents found…

since i don’t know much about that i’d not comment. except that even if something like that happened.. he’d have to be like a 100 years old..

btw i’m kinda surprised at you being so unreceptive of the ‘alternate’ pov.. i’d have thought you of all people would know that the truth and the truthful are always in the minority.. cuz isn’t it absurd that while billions think Jesus died on the cross, you and I are of the opinion he didn’t mainly cuz of the holes in the “administration’s” theories
