As I said, my preference (if I were a terrorist) would be to carry false identification papers. But, yes, I would carry papers giving me cover in the unlikely event some cop stopped me on my way to my mission and asked for identification. If I couldn’t get false ones, I’d carry real ones for the same purpose. After all, what do I care once my mission is over that they figure out who I am. In fact, I’d want all my fellow brothers and sisters to know that I did the act so that they could hail me with martyrdom and give my family a few bucks. Why should M. Atta get all the laurels and me get nothing?
Why do you think Zarqawis group likes to claim credit for bombing marketplaces in Iraq? Why do you think Hamas and Islamic Jihad claim credit for the suicide bomber who dismembers acne infected Isareli teens in pizza parlors? It amazes me when people are so quick to discredit others who publicly take credit for terrorist atrocities. A terrorist organization that never took credit for terrorist acts would not be a very good terrorist organization now would they? They are “strong” and “powerful” because they can create terror and kill people. Otherwise, they’re just an impotent gathering of fools resembling nothing more dangerous than our keyboard jihadis.
You’ve simply got to understand Kaleem that you don’t think like these people. (Neither do I). You are a passionate advocate for your beliefs and seemingly well educated (at least you give off several indices of intelligence). It would probably never even cross your mind that you would strap a backpack of explosives on your back, go into a subway station and blow up yourself and a whole bunch of other average Joe Blows. It is a given then that these people are already not in their right minds. So why do you expect they would do everything in accordance with the way right minded people would if they would do something that is not right minded?

Ok, if you want to deny the years of lying to inspectors by Iraq, then what about the Islamic Republic of Pakistan or the Islamic Republic of Iran? Surely if you believe some crazy story about Jesus surviving his crucifiction then you can’t be trusted to tell the truth about developing or proliferating nuclear weapons.

^lying...ha ha ha. Scott Ritter...my friend get your facts straight. Hans Blix also concluded that there were no weapons of mass destruction. So did other UN inspectors, what about the patroling of the no fly zone and increasing the bombing and area just to invoke saddam....you guys have no shame. Yeah, we will kill your children, destroy your houses, but if one westrener dies we will raise hell. Such hypocricy.
