LastOfTheDinosaurs suggested in an older thread that Persian should be made the lingua franca of NWFP and Balochistan and I agree, whilst Urdu/Hindvi is fine for Punjab and Sindh our people find it hard to learn because it is far removed from our own tongues but Persian would be easier to learn because it is more closely related to our languages and culture, most of our educated elders speak Persian as a second language just like Punjabis are able to speak Urdu/Hindi with ease.

Stick to Urdu, it's fine.
