How do you break the news to your first wife that you are marrying second one without breaking her heart ? It might send her into deep depression too , how to avoid that ? How long will it take before she overcomes the initial shock ? How can you predict what kind of reaction to expect from her ?

P.S1: These are hypothetical questions , I am not contemplating a second marriage .
P.S2:I might think about it if I get the right kind of advice. :smiley:

i think you should first inform yourself what pre-arranged funeral service cost and see if you can afford it, then you can break the news to her.

or you can say, "listen woman! Im getting married again for sawab! I am going to follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (saw), even though I have not filled any other requirement of his sunnah! I am kala, mota, ganjha, chismatoo, and a smoker (cant think of any other "sue me" threads), however I have still found a woman who is so desperate, she is willing to become my second wife. Take that!"

And then dont forget to come here after and open a new thread about having to deal with not 1, but 2 MILS!!!!!!

You play the religious card. First you grow a beard and start going to the masjid more often than you normally doā€¦even though your heart isnā€™t there but you do it nevertheless because you have an agenda. Then you start giving mini fatwas at home about how your children will get gunaah for watching cartoons and playing with dolls, you tell your wife she should wear a hijab, you start eating everything with your hands and wearing your pants up high. Then a few weeks later, you tell her that you want to earn extra sawwaab by marrying this bechari aurat who no one else wants to marry and if she stops you she will be putting you in a position of committing zinaa, and oh, the gunaah will go to her :rolleyes:.
