I used to have really intense period pains also, in my early teens. I used to get migranes too and I found that when I changed my diet, pains stopped. Eat foods that have good bacteria, like yoghurt. I am a yoghurt freak and when i first become one, i noticed my pains became less and less. Also, dont eat too much cheese. other then cheese incorporate things like milk into your diet and fresh fruit and veggies. I noticed also when i eat pakistani food less, the less the pain.... avoid spicy foods. good luck.
ladies sorry i didnt reply earlier , thank you so much for all your advice , i will try and improve my diet i do htink that really contributes to how i feel. but for the 8 years since i have had my periods i have known this intense pain. i will go see a doc im sooo lazyy .
there hs onli been one time where my period ws soooooo pain free .
oh n im nt petite or skinny haaha im normal nt fat nt skinny n even when i ws fat or skinny coz trust me i hve been my periods were the same.
I was having cramps this morning I took 2 advils, a heating pad a bed and an indian movie.. it helped alot distracted my mind from the pain... try extra stregnth midol I usually take that and I would say within 30-40mins maybe even less then pain will slowly fade away...
just wondering one thing. I have a friend who had like irregular periond, she got her period like twice a month or so nd her doctor gave her those birthcontrol pills. And she told me that she realised that using the pills makes ur breasts and hips "bigger" or larger. anyone experienced it or know abt it.
secondly its been like 3 yrs since i got my 1st period nd i have started to get irregular ones. like i dont know when i should expect it to come. usually i knew that its the first week in month, but now no idea. nd sometimes i dont even get it! anyone know why?
-make sure you're drinking mIlk during that time of the month-YES IT really HELPS!!
-Midol is an excellent pain killer.
-walk around if you still feel uncomfortable..walking reduces cramps
-use a heating pad-it helps ease the discomfort/pain.
-drink caffine-free tea.
-drink water:not too much tho because bloating might occur.
-take a warm shower
-stay away from stress:relax
-chocolates can help =]

im sufering similar prob it starts paining one week or more before starting of my periods i got my last month periods on 27 sept n now its 4th nov i havent got my periods but im in pain n fluctuatiing mood im being stressed out n all some body told me to eat choooaray its kind of dates but no use ive been eating them since two days i donno wat to do i also get severe pain ,cramps at times my sis have to take me to doc they give me pain killer injections n sometimes drips to overcome my weakness n my blood pressure goes down also.. i always dont get my periods on the exact date it always delays from 5 to 8 days since two months i was happy that they only shifted to 4 n then 2 days but now its almost a week from my date n havent got my periods but pre period is still there ...my shadi is in dec n if october periods shifts too long in this month of nov then when um gona get my nov periods im afraid they dont start in between my shadi or a few days before my shadi i wont be able to enjoy my functions coz of frustrated mood n pain ...wat should i do so that my periods can start so they can start early for nov ...i hope u guys understood im being freeeked out :S

wouldn't a person stink if they don't take shower in periods for the first two days?
hahah dts is a myth which sadly lots of us believe i cnt stand nt havin a shower for one day let alone 2 , actually i feel better when i have a shower when im on i feel much fresher and clean
mmkaki sometimes the irregularity of your periods can give u bad cramps u can get pills to sort that out.
the ginger tea sounds interestin might try that
once my MIL made me drink milk n egg she said it would help oh my godd half i dont know how i forced a gulp out of that bt i puked it all outt it was sickkkkk
