I keep meeting girls who are having trouble finding good educated men, and it seems there are way more girls out there in that class bracket compared to men.
Do you think there is a percentage difference in how many bachelors plus (more degrees than a bachelors) there are out there than girls?
Do you think we, as a community, put out as many bachelors educated boys as girls? Do the ratios change any with post-graduate education (ex. masters, specialized degrees, etc)
Hmm, do you think that one reason could be that (in some professions) a Bachelor's Degree can still get you a good salary? For example, I'm a teacher and have a Master's degree.....but I still might make considerably less than a guy who has a Bachelor's degree in IT (or some other field), let's say. Depending on the field...a girl might have the higher degree (Masters)...but could be earning less than a guy who has a lesser degree (Bachelor's).
Also, education is not the only component that will be looked at during the rishta search. A candidate might meet your educational requirements/standards....but you might find him or her incompatible in other ways.

story of my life. so many of the "doctors", "lawyers", "engineers", "corporate gurus" I've met are total jerkwads.
In fact, the higher the education and the higher the income, the more showbaazi, and the more arrogance.
I agree to you since the ultimate goal of "most" of the boys is to earn good salary and they want to do it asap. guys who are doing their own business never try to go for a bachelor degree .. and those guy who go for bachelor degree are okay with it since it helps them to find a decent job. this particular thing is making the level of %age of education between guys/girls unequal.
P.S:
in my case, i can't find a decent girl with good education .. :(
hahahaha .. lol @ blindness .. .. go and tlak to my mother and tell her that there are million of girls who have done masters .. show some of those girls to her .. i will be obliged!
In fact, tell your mom to go to Pakistan. Lots of masters/mbbs/phd's laying by the wayside waiting for american/british proposals. In fact, they completed their degrees, JUST FOR YOU.
Awein MBBS hearts random boy with visa/greencard/citizenship of any country other than Godforsaken Pakistan.
sighz
I don't blame those girls. Pakistan is so un-liveable.
okay, honestly it is not a family matter .. I am not bound to these things .. but you gota tell me where are those girls are sitting and waiting .. :p .. 8-)
trend has been chnaged just MONEY GUD earning no study no matter its pakistan who have Degress they dont have jobs and who have job or work they dont have study
Now everyone has degrees .Be it girls or guys. Most Desi guys i have heard of have atleast post graduate education.
Maybe its just the girls you met.Or it just differs from person to person.
It seems that way because most 'highly educated' guys who are financially well off arent looking for girls with post graduates or masters to begin with. Most of them feel they make more than enough to have a spouse who would concentrate more on the family rather than career. Furthermore, most of them are in their mid to late twenties after they get done with college and secure a good position, and they would want to get married to someone a few years younger than them. Chances are that those girls in their ideal ages wouldn't have a 'masters or a post graduate' degree.
Also, what difference would it make for a guy if he marries a girl with a highschool/bachelors over a girl with a masters/PhD? Absolutely zilch!
