People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

Indeed, I'm Kool has made some very good points to refute Frockistan point for point and he has not been able to counter I'm Kool - or for that matter the points I raised.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

*Why are you getting Uncle Abdul in Pakistan to carry out business deals for you when he is crooked? This is your own bad judgement. *

*Provided the resources are there to enforce accountability then you will be able to sue your Uncle for his crookedness. Wow! Now wake up to reality, this is the same in all developing nations, Mexico, Indonesia, etc etc. *

 • you work day and night to get a degree so that you can get a decent job only to find that some incompetent person gets the job u applied for because he happened to be related to someone influential and u end up unemployed
You can work day and night for a degree here in the West, and you wont get anywhere sometimes. You seem a bit thick, if you dont mind me saying (don't take it personally). You clearly dont know the way job systems work in the West or even in Pakistan. There's not much difference, I can assure you.

-you study your ass off for an exam to barely pass whereas others were busy partying and pass the same exam with flying colors because they bribed the examiners and got the answers beforeahand
If you study your ass off and only just pass you dont deserve a good job perhaps. This is all allegations I suspect from people who failed exams. Bribery of school teachers perhaps does happen, but then again, who's to say how common it is? Not you or I for sure. A neutral Pakistani who has been through the system there, perhaps, and there are plenty of Pakistanis who do make it through the education system and go onto better things.

-you drive out your brand new car out of the showroom only to be rid of it at gunpoint a few miles down the road
Oh yeah, this happens so often. Even in the cars I've been driven in, it's never happened.
-you buy bottled drinking water believing that it would be safer to drink only to find that the water in it is just ordinary tap water with a label on it
And the proof of this is? Again, this is a shopkeeper, to an extent he has a position of trust in this situation to his customer. Once again, lack of financial resources to ensure regular checks is the main trouble here. This is true of all developing countries, and you will find it also in some richer countries amongst dishonest poorer people.

The rest is just the same old rubbish I see from Frockistan. Simply people in Pakistan are not lazy on the whole. Pay them some money, they will work (the poor people that is), and just because your relatives are lazy, does not make the poorer people in Pakistan lazy - or in fact some of the other richer ones!

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

roadrunner...everything you're saying is your opinion so I don't understand why it excites you thinking you responded to a question saying it's dumb and thinking you've gotten your way.

I like how in the first few posts you mentioned what else can they do but sleep and sit around cause there isn't much to do and now one of your last posts says how my lazy relatives shouldn't be the reason for me to generalize.

I shall crown you the king of contraDICKtions.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

sorry rock...but I don't know which segment or class you are referring to in pakistan, may be the rich burger types, but as for everyone else everybody works way harder than anyone here in the US. Boys and girls in theor teenage are working in Karachi in stores, malls (many more shopping malls opened up now) door to door as field reps of retail companies etc.
Children under age have always been pushed to work in pakistan and continue to be worked (not something to be encouraged but it is a fact)
People in the auto factory where I worked from Jan to April this year during my 1 year failed attempt to relocate there were working from the time they were in Matric (10th grade). Many were still making 6000 to 7000 Rs per month.
They worked in sweat from head to toe day in and day out.
Older poeple in pakistan struggle to retire or get decent retirement benefits so even after they are forced to retire they sit at stores as sales persons, or open up typing shops etc... Most educated ones want to go back to work and look helplessely in a society which is being dominated by the 18 - 35 age segment now.
So sorry, but aside from the rich and spoiled, which is a small class in pakistan and some exceptions...
most people work hard in pakistan...
now they don't make anything and are struggling to catch their breaths in a suffocating environment, but they are working...
I didn't see anyone sleeping their days away!!!
please update your information from people who have actually gone and stayed there to see with a wider vision.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

Oh yeah! Everything roadrunner has said so far is obviously an opinion whereas everything that you've posted is cold-hard facts! I like the part where you backed your opinion with legitimate sources! I also like the parts where you debunked my argument!

And if you can learn to read properly, you'd notice that it was ME who said that thing about your lazy relatives, and not roadrunner. You further proved your inability to comprehend a written passage by somehow trying to relate me saying that kids can't find work in Pakistan with me saying how your relatives are lazy. Maybe you should have paid more attention in school instead of going to parks and eating ice-creame cones.

These are the facts: Kids in Pakistan can't find jobs because there aren't any available for them (no grocery stores, no big box stores), they can't do any volunteer services because there is no infrastructuce available in the country to provide them with such oppurtunities, and you are judging the entire country based on your experiences with your lazy relatives.

Once again, either prove our arguments to be wrong or don't bother posting at all. I'm kinda getting tired of replying to one ridiculous post after another, so stop beating around the bush post something useful, instead of trying to find some phantom contradictions in my post.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working…

I can see why she liked your first post better. It was shorter than your second one, thus contained less bull siht.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

^^ You're the reason why Pakistan is heading down hill. Be a man. Do the right thing.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

**The fact still remains that I've made an opinion on how I think Pakistanis are wasting there time in Pakistan and you've made your opinion by defending them. There are more people who agree with me I'm sure in my opnion rather then yours so you havn't done anything to support anything.

To me I'm right, along with my supporters whom you'll find tons of all across the nation and world unless all of us have gone mad and GOD has chosen you both to fruitfully multiply.

btw - your both on the same page so putting both of you together doesn't make much of a difference in my post above.**

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

You guys must be for Punjab.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

It's amazing how many people despise their own people and country on completely baseless things....yah all Pakistanis r lazy, don't work, don't go to school, and sleep all day, they have the luxury to do? yeah, except the ones not living in Pakistan that work hard all day long, go to school and accomplish so much, and work hard for every cent.

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

Exactly fridi.....read my response from earlier if you haven't yet...By God our people really work hard and for every khota sikka they earn...except for those leeches running our country and sucking it dry.. they are a mere few percent...

Re: People love sleeping in Pakistan and hate working...

Huh? That made very little sense, when you consider that I actually provided you with solid FACTS (I know, I actually used FACTS for my argument, what a noble idea!). What you said is obviously opinion, as you are admitting yourself, and opinion doesn't count for much when its countered with FACTS.

And no, most people don't agree with your point of view. Not in reality, not on this board either. I'd like you to ask some respectable posters on this forum (Mr. Fraudia, Faisal, Umer etc) and see what they think about both sides of the argument. The result might shock a person like you, who has no grasp with reality, but to me, it wouldn't be surprising, not one bit.

Also, you are making it seem as if you are bringing forth some sort of new research results and that people like me and roadrunner are denying those results. You have put ZERO amount of research into this subject matter and a person like you, who actually believes that there are volunteer oppurtunties available in Pakistan like the one you had when you were 16, obviously is in no position to compare the situation in Pakistan (a place where you obviously haven't resided for longer than a summer vacation) with other countries. I don't come on this board and defend everything that has to do with Pakistan. You can check my posting history. I've criticized Pakistanis (for legitimate reasons, mind you) and every other group of people multiple times on this board. I've bashed Bush a million times (on this board and in real life) as well. But if tommorow someone comes across and makes baseless accusations upon him, like Kanye West did by saying publically "Yo, Bush don't like us black peoples!" or something retarded of that sort, I will definitely come to defend the accused. That doesn't mean I'm a Bush supporter or anything.
