Does anyone else get grossed out when you see someone eating food on the bus or subways? I think its not proper etiquette. It totally turns me off (in general) when i see someone licking on their ice cream; like making a cylindrical shape of their ice cream by licking it. Or when someone opens their mouth so wide to take a bite of their hot dog.
Anyone else feels the same?

sometimes I think it's just that the person doesnt really hav much time to just sit down at a place and eat..Certain things like pizza and ice cream and hot dogs are just meant to be eaten on the go...

I have no problem as long as people are not making mess or eating with slurpy voice or with mouth open.

Maybe; but it just looks bad.
I personally just sit and finish the food; carrying it around falls under bad etiquette.

Eating in public is fine with me. I only do it when I am in extreme rush, otherwise I prefer to sit at a place & eat. The only thing that puts me off is drinking (alcohol) in public, but I guess it puts of a lot of people, particularly if someone is drinking in bus or underground (yes I have seen people drinking beer in underground, gross).

I know people like you. Atleast 1 and have heard of similar stuff, that I won't eat till I get home. I guess its how one is brought up in life.
Its seems to be oversensitive to have this view. However some people eat in a really disgusting way.
There are clean eaters out there as well though. There are plenty. Some will keep it so clean such that they even wipe their lips with a hanky instead of licking them clean and hardly drop a crumb on their laps either.

As long as someone is not gorging down food and making a mess or noise I am ok. Actually people who are toooooo prim and put too muich effort in 'sajaa-ofying' their food annoy me too ugh, just eat the darn thing.
