i cant believe some people actually notice small petty things like what pen to use when you sign nikahnama .its all abit insane to me. But each to their own.

I wouldn't even know what pen I used as I dont have any pics of my signing the nikah papers or video when I got married....:(

i had a guest book, but some people don't get it! my sister made a table for it and lots of people signed it, it so nice to read the lovely duas and messages people write, made me cry!

as for the pen, i can't believe that i forgot about that detail on my day!!!! my husband, really couldn't care less about wedding details but i was (sad, i know) so pleased when he whipped out a mont blanc fountain pen! he got brownie points for that!

aww guestbooks are a cute idea, my friend had one at her wedding and i spent like 20mins writing an essay about how much i loved her and would miss her, got a text the next day saying 'i couldnt stop crying after reading all of the comments and fez (her hubby) got really worried' haha

i actually lost my wedding cards that people gave to me with cute messages in them. They got destroyed in a fire along time ago. I didnt even read them properly! :(

lol.. we actually had a thread here a few months ago where people were discussing using some special pen for signing the papers. in my family, some uncle who had a big collection of different pens signed his nikkah papers with one of those and then passed it onto his son as a family 'heirloom'.

no, it was a thread right here in wedding about buying special pens for nikkah papers. it was interesting. did you use one from your collection for your nikkah too?

I would have suspected anyone who said , i want MY pen to sign the docs … someone could sign the papers with invisible ink and, imagine, 2 days later the signature’s gone from the papers … :nah:
