HAVE YOU noticed that in pakistani dramas they always show muslims as ones who go to these peer people and do dua on their graves…or whatever that green carpeted stuff is…you never see them just showing them reading namaz

The media can show anything.

Peer/Fakir stress on namaz and recitation of koran.In Roohaniat, the effect of words of ALLAH (through Koran or tasbeeh) do wonders.
