well i didnt know these days so-called protectors of islam only rejects-accept any rishta on the basis of who they are following…ie. farhat hashmi, tahir-ul qadri, sheikhs, peer-babaz etc etc.
I am so frekking pissed off that why these people dont open the Book of ALLAH SWT (Quran) themselves. why do they blindly follow these scholars. these scholars are the students themselves. they dont have the knowledge of everything. they cant be right about everything, but still people take their words as a direct word of Quran . and also why dont these scholars tell these ignorants to search themselves, and be your own scholar.
these people will spend hundreds and thousands just pay their respects (nazarana) to peer baba. they kiss their feet and sometimes they give their peer babas more respect then they give to ALLAH SWT in namaz.
i wonder how do these family treat any bahooo (i mean daughter in law) to refuse to follow their rituals.
^Treatment of DILs is an issue everywhere, not just with these blind followers. That's why I am big on women becoming independent rather than sitting at home waiting for a good rishta to come by. Go out educate yourself and stop depending on others for your better treatment. This is not going to change unless we all stand united and do something about it!
I know a woman in my distant relatives who is also a follower of some peer baba. She had some abdomen surgery and she was telling my mom that it all went fine because she was imagining the peer baba's face before the surgery begun, it was all due to the blessings of that peer baba.
Who watches that Indian show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa? Anyone remember that girl Sara Raza Khan that was a competitor? She had an awesome voice and was sooo cute but just pissed me OFFF! She kept saying things like "mein Ajmer Shareef ki darga pe jakey dua karungi ke blah blah blah hojaye".
I wanted to yell at her on screen...because that is SHIRK.
People really get into this peer baba stuff...and all its all a bunch of nonsense. No baba can do a dua any better then you yourself can.
You obviously have heard all the nonsense from the people around who have intercated with fake peer-babas. But i agree, bahoo or anyone in family shouldnot be forced to follow any peer, it should be voluntary as its supposed to be.

HAVE YOU noticed that in pakistani dramas they always show muslims as ones who go to these peer people and do dua on their graves....or whatever that green carpeted stuff is......you never see them just showing them reading namaz
