aur yahan aik festival hua tha … and wahan meinay bara khaya tha … uffff itna mazay ka tha … does anyone know where i can find it?? the spicy pakora like things that look like a desi doughnut …
and damn i want to make pakoraz …

Besan ko Dutch mein kehte hain “Kikkererwtenmeel”.. Har Asian, Turkish aur Surinaamse store se besan mil jaata hai.. :slight_smile:

Ooohh Bara’s..! I love em too..! I dont think you can find em in stores ready made.. (I never found em) .. Aur waise bhi.. Nothing can beat the fresh made bara’s..!
You can find the special bara atta in Asian stores.. (Especially in Surinaamse stores..) Afterall.. Bara is from the Hindustaanse Surinaamse Kitchen..:slight_smile: They also have this delicious sauce with it..! Which makes the bara even more yummy..!! :yummy:

Roza lag raha hai aur uppar se Barey ki baatein..:bummer: Not good not good..!! :bummer:

Im gonna make Bara’s tomorrow..:naraz:

^ Lol.. I'll give you the recipe soon Insh'Allah.. I havent made them myself for a loooooong time now.. Last time was what.. two maybe three years ago..? So I'll have to ask mom again.. Or have to experiment myself again (which I dont think is a good idea..:D )
