People opposed world series just like you are doing now. Likes of Imran, Majid and others were initially banned by boards all around.
BTW its not that lame logic as you are trying to portray. If you have been reading the articles in the press/online, I am sure you are aware (as is ICC, BCCI and ICL) that this stance will probably not hold in court of law and if ICL decide to go to court ICC/BCCI will most probably get defeated.

Even though I don't agree with Yousuf but we have to respect his decision.
Fact of the matter is players in ICL/IPL can make double (even more) the amount they make playing for the boards. Instead of banning these players let them play in ICL/IPL and all other leagues when they are not playing for the national sides just like they do in football.

Totally agree.
My personal wish is to see him playing for Pakistan but banning players is not part of the solution its part of the problem.

In another twist, Yousuf came out to defend himself citing ill-treatment by PCB (and Shoaib Malik). As per him he was observing all this for quite long and his threshold reached after the saga of denial of Canadian visa. When he got the passport back it was reveled that PCB applied to “resident visa” for him instead of visitor visa as they did for rest of the team

Typical Yousuf BS. He just wants to play every damn game that Pakistan plays. Yousuf never volunteers to rest to give younger players a chance in meaningless games, he wants to play 20/20...he just wants everything...typical greedy attitude. He thinks he deserves it all.
Look at Jaque Kallis you fool...he is miles ahead of you as a batsmen, bowler and fielder and when he was left out of SA 20/20 squad numerous times, I didnt see him whine and cry about it.
And what...and I mean what has Yousuf EVER done in 20/20 cricket? He has struggled badly against our 3rd class domestic teams...look at his DOMESTIC 20/20 record and it will give you a perfect reason why he is not picked for this format...and to top it off...he is probably the worst fielder in the Pakistani side and he has failed to ever do anything about it to improve his fielding..infact it keeps getting worse. Maybe he should first prove his worth in 20/20 and then open his filthy mouth.
He has NEVER been dropped from any ODI or Test match...what other respect does he want? Does he want the board and captain to be at his feet?
The captain has the RIGHT to boss his players around...thats why he's the captain. The captain does NOT HAVE TO, or need to, listen or follow what other senior or junior players have to say. For me, its a good sign that Malik has decided to have enough of the seniors bull**** and have his own way.

^ Your criticism look good on paper but does not match the ground realities. If I were a player I'd be FURIOUS on getting dropped (In Pakistan AKA: insulted) IF captain keep on insisting on including his fav player AKA Kamran Akmal. He is ONLY playing becasue Shoaib Malik wants him to and he does not level his bad fielding out with top class batting too!
Fit in or don't fit in looks good when it applied to everyone .. you can not pick and choose non-performing players ! When Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Akhrar and other non performers keeps on playing, Yousuf has every right to play every game :)
