I think this time it is going to be different. He had his problems with Naseem Ashraf's ran administration who were not able to sign him up for IPL. It is possible that this time he onsulted with Uncle Butt and after getting some kind of assurance he decided to sign up for ICL. Lets see....

He is joining ICL most probably because IPL is not paying him for this year else ghar bbaith ker khana kis ko bura lagta hai :)

True... the amount was his annual salary from IPL but what about the contract with IPL?

I am assuming that if he was paid some money from IPL than there will be a contract as well. Genereally IPL contracts are for 3 years. If Yousuf has a 3 contract with IPL just like everyone else, then he will once again find himself in between ICL and IPL tug of war.

Anyone can solve it?

If Pakistan loses him, it will be the biggest loss to ICL for Pakistan. Hopefully, Butt can convince him tnot to join ICL.

We keep blaming Yousuf for why he is playing for ICL and he is money greedy. Tell me who cared about Yousuf when they was going to Canada. They could not even get visa for their star batsman, what a joke. The guy wants to play 20/20 and if he is not getting chance with Pak team, what else he is suppose to do?

And also to those who keep saying beard man and religious man doing this. Shame on you, are we all are not hypocrate when it come to Islam? We are born muslim and we think we are above then law of Islam just because we don't have beared. Whether a muslim have a beard or not he is suppose to be following Islam. We have a habit of criticising the one with beard just we think he should be a better muslim just because he have a symbol of Islam.

The guy with beard is as much as answerable to God as the guy without beard. At least he is one step better then us they he has a Sunnah a Rasool (pbuh). Give him credit where its due.

How much he is getting help from Pakistani board against this law suite from ICL? Does anyone questions that?

^ hmmm, one who is not following even one act of sunnah is not a step back, he/she is way way back?
Nobody criticizes on beard, people only criticize the way he keeps it, when we keep a lawn we mow it neatly and nicely, why can't he and people who keep beard like this can trim it nicely and properly.

u call it greedy ..... well even i would go for a job thahts better paid ... dare to call me greedy ..... well do call ppl what u want but that doesn't change the fact the he is still eager to represent Pakistan on the Intl. Circuit ....... it's the damn BCCI and ICC + other arrogant Boards who decided to ban players joining ICL

ICL for me isn't nothing else than just another employer ...... just as the IPL or any other County Side

Technically Speaking the PCB can't ban on the grounds of joining the ICL coz in any Court PCB and the likes won't stand a chance withthe argumentation they bring forth to ban certain players

For this is the biggest loss sofar since Razzaq

Atleast 3-4 of them could've been in the National Side right now but thanks to shmucks at PCB they r banned.

Look at What Sri Lanka did ...... they lifted the Ban and i think in the long run they'll profit from it unlike us and some other boards

SL didn't lift the ban completely. Infact they only lifted it just for one of their domestic tournaments. I guess they have 3-4 different domestic tournaments and the ICL players won't be allowed to play in the rest of the tournaments.

However I agree with most of the things you said.

Why people are trying to give lame logic, it is clearly stated whoever join ICL will face a ban. I think players should respect ICC and cricket boards decision and should not join ICL or any other league which is not approved. Players should think if they have not played for their country no one have known them.

I think you got confused what I meant mate. All I was saying that why we think only people with Beard should be good muslims. Why we don't criticize anyone whether with beard or without beard. Why we always bring beard into conversation. And beside that he looks nice in his beard mate.

My question to you brother. What if you desire to play 20/20 and you had been left out twice. Once with the excuse of your fielding is bad, 2nd you could not get visa. Then you are facing legal battle from ICL and no one is helping you out, you are going through sleepless nights. Then on other side you are getting very good money, less time in the game, more time with the family and you believe its wrong to ban players from playing international cricket. You tell me, would you have not accepted ICL offer?

I am sure any one of us would have done the same thing as Yousuf, Inzi, Razzaq, Rana, Shahid Yousuf, Azhar, Imran and imagine how many other international players from other countries did.

And how many of you are not following ICL matches?

If you are following them watching them or looking at the highlights then there is no difference between the players who are playing the ground and people who are watching those matches. If you believe something is wrong then why be a part of it?

I hope no offence taken. These are my views. I quite enjoy those matches, it is cricket which I love.

I don't know why the peoples arguing for? We shouldn't bring the "mazhab" in the controversial discussions.

Rules are rules, if Yousuf broke the rules he should be punished and thats all, regardless of what PCB has done to him in the past. If you don't care for the nation, piss off - we don't need you either.
