With immediate family paying for things, I feel more comfortable (though I usually take care of it myself). I feel more uncomfortable with others (male or female) paying for me....not to the point where I can't get over it....but I feel a bit awkward as I don't really have that expectation of them.

Ladies, how comfortable are you with a guy paying for your meal/shopping/coffee? Obviously it varies from situation to situation and your relationship with the guy, but to what extent would you let them pay?
Guys how comfortable are you with a woman paying for your meal/coffee/shopping/trainers? Do you think it's a question of pride that you pay for your own things? Again, it's a different issue if it's your wife/partner - how about your mums, sisters, daughters even? Or just female colleagues offering to buy your lunch etc?

I am not comfortable with women of my family paying. If i go out with them..i pay for it regardless of they have a job or would want to pay for it.
When i went out with women..then we pay for ourselves. Now there are female friends..which i pay for them usually.. or they would by themselves. Depends on situation of course.

In the beginning, I can understand him wanting to pay and that's fine. But one the second or third meeting, I'd definitely want to pick up the tab or at least pay my portion.
I don't think men should pay every single time.

I like paying for myself and actually anyone else who is with me, if i can...but if I was with a guy, like in a relationship or something Id let him pay...
