Alright imagine this scenario, you are going to Pakistan and your best friend asks you that she wants to change the profile picture in your facebook account to a pic of both of you together and because you are so busy in packing and do not have time to go online you give her your password and tell her you can change the picture BUT you say please do not see my messages and other walls because i would not feel comfortable. However, she reads your messages.

Your fiance tells you that he wants to forward a mail in your account to his and he wants to ‘check’ something and he eggs you on with the reasoning that he is your fiance and you think alright he is my fiance and i am going to marry him and he keeps on telling you “tum password kyon nahi dena chahti? kya chupa rahi ho tum mujhse? mujhse pyar nahi karti kya?”

Your husband wants your password for one simple reason, i am your husband, i have to have your password. Trust me i will not open your account i just want to know it because i feel you are my wife and i should have your password.

In all three scenarios, these are people you should or you do trust and a lot. They tell you yes yes we will not access it or see your personal things we just want to know your password. You give it, they break the trust. What now ?

If she/he is my best friend and they read my messages even after I tell them not to, then yes, it would definitely upset me, but not to an extent such that I would go all nuts over such little issue… My argument here is that, I will only give my password to my bf if I trust them and respect them… None of us is perfect, and c’mon you know when someone tells you not to do something, you are more tempted… And even if they do read my message, does that mean they broke my trust? NO…Not in my world atleast… Because I know my best friend will not go even behind my back and do something that may harm me in any way…

If my fiancé/husbands ask for my passwords, I would give it to them… But why would they ask you in the first place for your password, if they trust you??? And if He asks me Qs, such as “tum password kyon nahi dena chahti? kya chupa rahi ho tum mujhse? mujhse pyar nahi karti kya?”
Then, there’s definitely something wrong here.. Does he not trust me enough, that he is going to question my love for him, over a password? I don’t know much about relationships, never been in such a relationship, but I do know that, the foundation of strong relationship is trust… There shouldn’t be any secrets or privacy issues between husband/wife or even fiancé… I mean lets sya you fiancé is sitting right behind you, and you want to access you account, are you going to lift up the keyboard/laptop or something, while trying to access your account, in order to hide your password from them??? That’s just screwed up, totally… Then why hide your password?
Aure rahee baat if I do give them my password, and they go and read my emails.. does that break my trust? No.. When I trust someone, I trust them with my heart, and such little issue is not going to break my trust for them… Because I have nothing to hide from them, that them reading my mails will tarnish my trust…
P.S. you is meant in general terms.. Not referring to anybody…lol when I m in a thinking process, I tend to question everything… hence those “you’s” .
