It’s not that I’m not familiar with the malpractices at such offices. I grew up in Pakistan and unfortunately know how it generally works. But I have a few examples from my own family where people took a stand and got their work done without any bribe. Allah helps those who help themselves. It’s much easier to suffer here for not paying the bribe than to face the hell fire.

from religious point of view, yes! you are right. unfortunately, not everyone is either that religious or that patient. sometimes, urgency of the matter force you to do things that you wouldn’t have done otherwise.
