so where did the pashtuns come from? no history of pashtuns?

as far as most of the history is concerned punjab, kpk and parts of eastern afghanistan have remained part of the same civilizations. the rulers have almost always been from central asia even before the muslims.

They have never been part of indus valley civilization , gandahara etc. Like I said they are not original inhabitants of KPK. Original inhabitants of KPK were hindus of same origin as Punjabis.

As for as their origin is concerned , they are derived from ancient eastern iranian people like Scythians and bactrians.
