Just wanted to get some of your opinions about “pashto” films… if you guys have ever really seen any … you qualify to give ur opinion even if you’ve seen their posters… coz they r like clothes which reveal more than what they hide
I personally find them to be very very conservative… coming from that region I can understand that… I mean that in the whole pashto movie, you hardly ever see the heroine… Has anyone ever seen her ‘face’ … ???
Secondly, they are really really musical … i mean a 15 min song after every 10 min … I wonder… really wonder who is the choreograpgher… those dance steps … OMG … and I’m not talking about those “talwar and romal” dances
I had once an opportunity to go and actually see one with a few of my friends in Lahore… and wud u believe, we actually planned it !! It was one of the most hilarious evenings ever
P.S: I hope this thread wont turn into a punjabi pathan bashing coz thats not the point. I’ve loads n loads of pathan friends so its not personal at all !! My next thread will be on punjabi films
Yes yes … Pashto films … its one hell of an experience, and if u havent seen one, u r missing u dont know what !!! You’ll forget all bat comedy central or watever comedy channels you have in whichever country u r in …
BTW have u ever asked for pashto films from your local desi stores!! just try once and look at their facial expressions
I hate Pushtu movies cuz, Pakthon na ma raazi … I dont know Pushtu. Well my friends say most of the Pushtu movies are Adult movies.. and not good for kids like myself.
Noor... the guys from whom I rent movies have a pretty decent opinion abt me (at least thats wat i think) ... dont know what they'll think abt me afterwards ... but i'll ask a couple of pathan friends if they find any here ...
And if they dont export pashto films... then my question is Y NOT ... can u imagine how far it'll go in improving the image of that region after all the "shuttlecok burqa" shown all the time in the media ... maybe not improving but certainly it'll show that they aren't what others think they r !!
Noor... next time u visit peshawar u must go n see one .... if not then u HAVE to at least ask your local friends to show u .. and amuse urself with the look of shock n despair on their faces and all the different excuses they'll give u for not being able to go n watch one!!
those films are not any less then any soft porn. you still gonna do that on this saturday?
