Many many years ago My mother watched pushtu films ..in those days there were a few with "family" type stories based on morals etc
nowadays I guess the market for these type of films has changed...peopel are now watching more indian type films especially the younger peopel who understand tha language.
As I understand it, pushtu films are being made and marketed by ametuars for the adult men market...its a way they make money...
I believe that they are not everyones cup of tea.
I think if the were seen in the "west" or by peopel with a more refined taste the'd be seen as perhaps a form of entertainment to titilate.
the men who watch these films wouldnt let their women folk watch them.
However I have watched bits of a few television Drams...these had good storylines, the acting was good and I suppose if they can make tehse type of dramas Im sure they can make good watchable films...
but I suppose the they would need funding...and who will fund a good pushtu film?
PS Don’t go watch pashto action films!! Case in point, the clip that janwar posted. You will hate action films or just plain films for your whole life!
Don’t then yell that we didn’t tell ya..
