Re: PARSI
Central asian aryans had a religion called mithraism. Which was a polythesis in nature...Two groups of clans emerged from it namely devas and ahuras...Both fought each other bitter before parting ways ...Ahuras invaded iran and devas invaded indianic plains...Both wrote verses showing each other evil...over the period of time, Ahuras came to be known as zoroastrians from their philosopher preacher- zoroaster. And devas merged with other settlers in india like dravids and adopted their beleifs with their mainstream beleifs which latter sumed up to be called Hinduism. In 8th century persia was invaded by muslims, where zoroastrians were forced to pay high poll tax to fund arab jihad army and large group of poor zoroastrian farmers with their families made their way to east...landing on shores of india, where they seeked refuge and freedom to follow their religion...That was granted with few give and takes. Ever since Parsis in india have shown likeness for hindus and their customs...to a point where they have adopted hindu festivals and holy days into their customs. Considering this, it would be so ironical if a zoroastrian woman marries a muslim. But leaving that aside mix marriages seldom succeed... esp in subcontinent and still worst with joint families...and esp between two ideologies with nothing much in common. My honest suggestion is, once infactuation is over, pratically this union is destined to doom ...better not go for it.
