Features:
2.5 oz, battery powered, totally hands-free, no cords
How it works:
All you have to say is MINIKIT to activate the device. Say the name of the contact to call. Say Accept or Reject for an incoming call. Uses NFC to connect to your phone (sorry iPhone 5ers).
Cost: $99.99
There is a cool app that goes with, not sure if it’s out yet, but it has a parking-meter reminder, parking spot finder, the last GPS position of ur car location!
Maybe because it is paired up with an app that can do the extra stuff? What Parrot is claiming is that it is 100% hands-free unlike other bluetooth devices that do require u to tap a button. You could also connect 2 bluetooth phones to one kit.
Btw, it’s selling in Amazon for $60. And the free app is also available:
Also because bluetooth doesn't make calls hands-free just used to receive calls. BUT then why not use the internal voice recognition apps?
With the internal voice recognition apps, you still have to put your phone on speakerphone or wear headphones. You can activate a call but I'm not sure what happens if your phone rings...can we say Accept? If we can, on my S3, then baby I'm all set but I'd still need to use the speakerphone and hope the external noise can be filtered like the Neo kit claims to do.
I meant in conjunction with bluetooth which would automatically accept calls and the internal voice recognition app would make the calls lol. Would that even work?
The audio comes out of the little device itself. It's a stand alone device. You can clip it to your visor or lay it on the countertop/table when u want to go handsfree.
How is the volume on it? on you use it has headset?
I haven't used it Usman. Was just reading about it. It's not a headset but a little device you can put in ur car or around if you need to go hands free.
